No water offered while checking in. Price of the water bottle is $3. 00 which is very small. This is real cheap for any hotel. How can you over charge (5x) for drinking water? no tap water inside the hotel or nearby. The room space is considerably small.

The hotel is nice. But only 2 lifts and no parking at hotel premises. You have to go and park in parking lot which is about 5 minutes walk back to hotel. They charge us 60 and with hotel stamps about us $ 50. Take the top most floor for stay because lift will always be busy and you have a chance of finding it empty on top floor while going down as people in mid floors rarely get empty lift.

The expectation from a hotel such as doubletree by hilt-on was high, however the experience was extremely pathetic. Things that are not great, doubletree needs to work upon. 1. There are no folks to greet and take the guest luggage, as a customer you need to carry it all the way to the room. (rooms go up to 40th+ floors. 2. Rooms are extremely small- if you are paying $100+ for rooms, the expectation is to have a slightly comfortable room, with a decent size. 3. Water bottles, even as a welcome gesture isn't given to a customer. Hotel such as doubletree should at-least provide a bottle of water.

Clean and well maintained hotel with a few shortcomings. The elevators are quite slow and overburdened, so wait times are longer. There is no hairdryer in the room, but an ironing board is available. However there are a lot of facilities such as gym and restaurant. The basics are well covered with clean rooms, clean and well maintain restrooms and comfortable living spaces.

We stayed for a night. The check in happens at the second floor, meaning you have to carry your luggage till the 2nd floor. We booked through MakeMyTrip and when we reached at 8pm, we were told by the reception lady that the card we used was declined. However, I had paid full amount through MakeMyTrip. After a couple of minutes of discussion, this was settled but was unpleasant.

Everything was good. Near to 9-11 Memorial, Indian restaurants are near and you get good rooms though they are small but are good as it is expensive in New York to get big properties. Staff is good. I live this place couples can come to this place as most of the time is spent roaming around and it is good to relax here.
