Good, but away from tourist spots

One is dissapointed as one enters the lobby, as it of limited size and not too glamourous. However the rooms are good, with crisp, clean sheets. The rooms facing the main road/river, have the advantage of a good view, but the road is noisy during the day. Had breakfast and lunch, both of which were very good. It is 45 minutes by road from the main attractions by public transport. There is a nice municipal corporation park with walking track adjoining the water facing the Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Golden Horn, at about 10 minutes walking distance. 2-3 supermarkets selling grocery etc are very close by behind the Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Golden Horn
