This is one of the finest resort in Maldives, only thing one need to do is book ocean pool villa for 2 days and another ocean overwater pool villa for 2 days, rest 1 day you can book normal over water villa as that villa is just okay, hence on that day you can roam around the property because pool villa either ocean or over water is simply amazing and I am unable to describe the same in words. Don't book this property if you are not booking a room with a private pool. Than it is not at all worth over water villas are facing other villa and view is obstructed. Service is amazing food and alcohol is exorbitantly priced. If you are an Indian I would suggest to carry ready to eat foods. Take spa at Dhigu (couple spa must have). They give you life drinking water, jacket, snorkelling sets and kayak as complimentary. We were on a honeymoon hence we got a cake, champagne and floral decoration as complementary gesture from the resort (you need to inform than over email along with your wedding card).

I stayed for 3 nights and everything about the property was excellent. I was upgraded to a superior category water villa and it’s surely way better than the normal water villas. It’s worth paying that extra money for the superior category. The variety of restaurants is amazing because this is basically two resorts connected through a 2 min ferry ride. So you basically get to enjoy facilities of 2 resorts. The only negative thing was an experience at the fine dining Italian restaurant. The food quality was not at all good. In fact the pizzas served at the Dhoni bar was way better than the fine dining Italian restaurant. Otherwise, everything is great. As with all properties in Maldives staff goes out of the way to win your heart as all properties are equally great as I’ve heard.

My wife and I had an incredible experience staying at Anantara Veli for our honeymoon. The staff there were extremely welcoming and friendly and accommodated our various requests. The property as a whole was lovely. The proximity to various other islands operated by Anantara gave us plenty of options to hop about other islands and restaurants. We were able you try 5 different restaurants and each had some amazing food. Special shout out to Baan hura restaurant for some amazing Thai food. We were also able to go on snorkeling and scuba diving trips and the instructors were highly educational and helpful. I highly recommend this!! And will surely visit again
