Review Summary
Powered by Myra.AI
The property enjoys a fantastic location, just a short stroll from the train station and Galway's vibrant city center. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the clean and comfortable rooms. The on-site restaurant has received praise for its delicious food, making it a great dining option. While breakfast could be better, the overall experience leaves visitors feeling satisfied.
Excellent Stay
Great location, at a walking distance to main attractions. Comfortable beds. Ample space in rooms. However they should have more options for breakfast. If you don’t like pork/ham, there is not much.
Room: Classic Double Room
Not good
Room were not up to mark with price of room. Was under renovation. Too much noise at day time. Bathroom was stinking with some chemical s.
Room: Standard Double Room
Old but great location
I cannot tell you how very central the location is, we got down from the rail station, took a left, kept walking on the same road, took another left till the end of the small road, and reached our hotel. Literally a 5 mins walk and then we realized that we were also 5 mins from the Eyre Square which is the centre of the town, and just 7 mins from the pedestrian street where all the action is happening. The lounge and reception is dark and oldish but the rest of the hotel has a lot of light. We had a couple of problems like the heater not working, or a non-functional kettle, but the staff took care of them immediately. The room was quite spacious and the TV played all sorts of channels. It was great value for money considering the fact that everything was within the walking distance. Most tour companies also had a pick from Victoria although the coach station itself was a 5 mins walk.
Room: Standard twin - 2 twin (single) beds
