The bathrooms & toilets are small, like really small. A thin person like me can barely fit. The dorms were. Just beds laid out side by side, i booked the dorm expecting they'll offer bunk beds, because thats what it was written (the photos have both. The breakfast was nice: fruits, cereals, eggs,. I must say, the stairs are killer, like someone who is booking a dorm will obviously walk 900m from the station. I agree the walk was indeed nice, but in the end you are greeted with so many stairs. People with heavy luggage beware. I managed somehow with my 13kg suitcase & 7kg backpack. Btw, u do get a clear view of the matter-horns peak so. Worth it ig. And you cant get an early check-in in any case, they dont even have staff members before the specified time so thats there. I however just kept my luggage under the stairs as i arrived at 12 pm there, so just kept it & went to gornergrat. The luggage was safe when i returned after 4 hours.

The bathrooms & toilets are small, like really small. A thin person like me can barely fit. The dorms were. Just beds laid out side by side, i booked the dorm expecting they'll offer bunk beds, because thats what it was written (the photos have both. The breakfast was nice: fruits, cereals, eggs,. I must say, the stairs are killer, like someone who is booking a dorm will obviously walk 900m from the station. I agree the walk was indeed nice, but in the end you are greeted with so many stairs. People with heavy luggage beware. I managed somehow with my 13kg suitcase & 7kg backpack. Btw, u do get a clear view of the matter-horns peak so. Worth it ig.
