Not a good place to stay on vacation

The stay was not very pleasant, with too many unexpected surprises at the hotel. The security deposit was unusually high, almost equal to the cost of one night’s stay. They also have a linen policy that I was seeing for the first time. Guest rules were very restrictive — only one guest allowed per day, and no visitors after 10 PM. If you need an exception, you’re charged + taxes per guest, which felt unreasonable. Even drinking water in the room was charged extra per bottle. Breakfast was also disappointing and not up to the mark.

The stay was great, i was there 4 nights at the hotel. Hotel staff was polite and accomodating, i got a slightly late check-out upon requesting. The location of the hotel is good, easy to have access to essential amenities. They provide a free 10min spa and a free dessert upon every checkin, which can be availed at any time during the stay. Caution: if you're a pure vegetarian, you're better off not booking this hotel, or booking it without the breakfast. Very few vegetarian options were there on the breakfast buffet spread.

Very bad hotel i'm

I used to stay here almost once a year and was a good hotel in past. This time we booked 6 rooms and had a very bad experience with staff, rude, at check out. Breakfast i cam rate minus 1. Bad service and bad food and not worth to visit here again and i can tell everyone. I also had deposit of 2000 php and still they charged me fresh from my card.

Main issue is that I did not get the hotel I wanted and in addition not a 5-star property

A case of clear misrepresentation in the net that the hotel is a five star property. It is certainly not a 5-star hotel. Secondly, and even more importantly it describes itself as I'm Hotel Manila. It reads as if it is the iconic Hotel Manila of Macarthur fame. Both the things make me believe that it is the iconic Hotel Manila. Also it shows itself as a Hotel in Manila City whereas it is actually in Makati City.

Staff was extremely polite and their hospitality was commendable! The rooms were neat and tidy. The view from the room was spectacular!
