Wonderful staff good night sleep

The staff went out of their way to help me with my hurt knee, bringing me some ice twice. They also brought my breakfast to my room. Only strange thing was my bath water was a brown color. They assured me this was normal so i took my bath and skin actually felt soft afterwards, and slept like a baby. Location is close to all the main things to see in the famous down town area.

A good Hotel in Low Budget

The hotel situated in Thelam market, location is very good. Lots of Pubs n Bars available nearby. The Hospitality was very good. Only issue is that Room Size are small, but cleanliness and service is Best. One suggestion is for Hotel Management is that, Do not close the main entry gate of Hotel as traveller coming to late night have to wait for gate opening. At least Reception should be approachable all the time.

A pleasant stay in a great location!

The property is centrally located in the bustling lanes of Thamel. It is wise to stay in Thamel when you are in Kathmandu as most of the restaurants, late night bars are all located in the vicinity. The property is great with a quaint garden in the backyard that also serves as an open air restaurant. We were checked in pretty smoothly, the presence of a lift was very beneficial. The hotel also arranged for a car for sight seeing on very short notice, which is commendable. The rates weren't exorbitant either. The breakfast buffet isn't something to rave about but it does its job. In entirety, our stay at the property was pleasant.

I am sharing some of the details along with the pictures of the horrific experience we had at Hotel Yukhang Kathmandu. 1. Very small rooms 2. Room needs up gradations like washrooms and mettress with springs coming out. 3. The lift was not working properly and we had 6-7 floors 4. Washroom sink was having water logging. 5. Washroom vent was opening in the room itself. 6. Dirty room floors. 7. Open Nails in the almirahs There were some positives as well 1. Location 2 service 3. Staff.

The location was absolutely pathetic. Was difficult to locate even by the local people. The food quality was not good at all and pricey. We stayed in other hotel in Kathmandu but didn't experience bad service. The service people was not understanding the problem and taking awful time to resolve it. Surprisingly there was no room service number was provided and every time we had to go through the reception.
Hot water was not coming in the bathroom and when we complained, they came for service after 2 and 1/2 hours. This incident truly speaks about the quality of the hotel.

The Hotel Yukhang situated in Thelam market, location is very good. Lots of Pubs n Bars available nearby. The Hospitality was very good. Only issue is that Room Size are small, but cleanliness and service is Best. One suggestion is for Hotel Management is that, Do not close the main entry gate of Hotel as traveller coming to late night have to wait for gate opening. At least Reception should be approachable all the time.

The staff went out of their way to help me with my hurt knee, bringing me some ice twice. They also brought my breakfast to my room. Only strange thing was my bath water was a brown color. They assured me this was normal so i took my bath and skin actually felt soft afterwards, and slept like a baby. Location is close to all the main things to see in the famous down town area.

perfect location for tourist. rooms are very clean. staff is very humble and polite. the best part is staff listens and helps to customers and pays attention to customers which is very great. I would love to come back soon
