Short stay at Jupiter Hotel Bole

I reached the Addis Ababa Airport and was standing at the shuttle stop for more than 45 minutes. I called the hotel more than 5 times and they told me that the shuttle had left the hotel to pick me up. To my bad luck it started raining. I had to request one driver of other hotel to let me sit in his van till my shuttle arrived. After my van arrived the driver told me that he was waiting at Terminal 1 (Domestic). I had emailed the hotel regarding my booking 7 days prior to my visit and was expecting a response with driver details. Also next day, they did not have a van for dropping me back to the airport. The Pickup and Drop service needs substantial improvements. As on date one cannot rely on them. Like many airports, Addis airport does not sell Mobile sim cards, you can get it from hotel counters or drivers. This is sad. Now the review of the hotel, The location is very good, walking distance from airport and shopping areas. There is a Indian cook so you can get good Indian food. The room is very nice but toilets have no Health faucet. Milk powder or creamer for coffee and tea are not available in the rooms. Even if you ask for it, they refuse. The staff is very polite and supportive. Hotel is very clean and well-maintained.

The stay at Jupiter bole was my excellent stay. The staff was too good and helpful and manger Mr. Umer was too good. They himself made food for my kid. Great hospitality. I will stay again when ever I go.

Clean rooms and good location

No parking. Front office not very cooperative. The place is close to supermarket, mall and restaurant and cafes. Most of the places are walkable, the roads are safe. Room is good and clean and internet is good and working. Breakfast is ok. There is no much place in lobby. Noted most of the time you see outside guests filled up and working on laptops in the lobby.
