Stayed on level 11. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the added convenience of being connected to Ipoh Parade shopping centre. Just RM5 to old town and Concubine Lane area or to the Ipoh night market. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Excellent location for a short stay.

I had a wonderful stay here! The room and toilet were large, clean, and very spacious. The hotel provided complimentary international buffet breakfast during my family’s stay, as well as a simple supper, which was a great touch. It's conveniently located in central Ipoh right beside the Ipoh Parade mall, which is linked directly indoors via the hotel lift lobby. I will definitely be back to stay if I'm headed to Ipoh again!

The hotel is location is great. I stayed 4 nights in the Superior King Room on th 12th floor, it was spacious and clean, bed was good but pillows can be better. However the toilet paper is very hard and rough, I have expected better for this kind of hotel. Last day the housekeeper forgot to give bathtowels, I called the receptionist and requested for new ones, but she seems not believing me and want to check first. I found it very strange, why would I lie about it. She did sent someone, then the housekeeper wants to check again in my room. Then I feel offended, not sure why they want to keep checking and searching for something there is not there. That's waste of my time. Most of the staff are friendly and nice, but there was a staff who quite has a big mouth, stopping me to appraise the piano on the first level, well there were no sign that guests are not supposed to play on it, I apologised for playing it. but he seems very upset and kept saying that is not meant for play and only decoration. That's very rude of him, if you don't want people to touch it then don't put the piano there. As a world traveller pianos are put in airports, train stations, malls etc for piano users. These last two points kinda ruin my mood during the stay, very unfortunate.

Thumbs down to the buffet. Cold cuts were salty. The gyoza was dry. ABC station and wish were empty with half an hour to close and staff were not willing to refill anything.
Very European design. Fantastic staff. Only niggles food in the buffet was not very great for lunch and breakfast. For lunch they seemed to be in a hurry to wind it up at 1400 against a closing time of 14:30 with no refills. Parking charge . The TV seemed to have a mind of its own in my room. Except the food the stay was perfect and I'd stay here again without a doubt.

In short best property in Ipoh Location - Prime Location with walkable distance to main markets, 7-11, eateries, etc. There is a mall connected to the WEIL Hotel. Food - Large selection of items in breakfast buffet, and they have 3 restaurants to choose from. I didn't take other meals so can't comment on that. Good vegetarian options available in breakfast buffet. Centrally located and you can easily get cabs from here. Service - Hotel staff was quick, enough people to serve and they are good with communication also.

I attended a meeting at the WEIL Hotel. Stayed on 12 floor with exclusive lounge access. Very nice WEIL Hotel, good food, helpful staff, easy to get a cab and attached to a mall that takes care of shopping options. The view from the rooftop/pool is awesome. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay there if I ever visit Ipoh again.

The Weil Hotel has a central location in Ipoh with nice surroundings. The Ipoh parade mall is next door and connected to from within the Hotel so there is plenty to eat out from and to shop. The in-house restaurants in the Hotel have an extensive menu and tasty food. The staff is polite and helpful. Views from the rooftop infinity pool are breathtaking.
