All in all a lovely stay in every way. Fresh food and sweet service. Clean quiet rooms. The view is stellar, especially the punakha dzong at night and the constant sound of a glacial river is soothing.

Great location and amazing food

Spirit village lodge is situated next to the river bank and you can clearly see the very famous punakha fort from it. We also really enjoyed the indian food prepared by them for us. It is a small cozy hotel, go there enjoy nature and great views, don’t expect anything too fancy
