The property is not maintained. The breakfast buffet has very limited options. The flooring in the room was cracked. The outdoor tub in the room was not maintained. The bathrobe provided in the room was torn. There were ants all over the room. You cannot categorise this resort into a 5 star. Not worth the money.

The resort is good and rooms are spacious but didn't like the food options.. Very limited menu for breakfast buffets on both days. The room service and house keeping requests took an hour to be fulfilled.. Really disappointed considering the tariff and the brand name.

We stayed at so sofitel as we were on our honeymoon and it was my birthday. We had a very pleasant stay. Staff was friendly. Rooms were very spacious and private. Housekeeping was done everyday. They arranged a special cake and lighting for my birthday. Food was good and breakfast had limited vegetarian options. We had the view of the beach from the room very refreshing. The pool and spa facilities were good. Must visit!

Perfect stay at the tropical paradise

The moment you step into the hotel you are warmly greeted by the staff with a great welcome drink. We met pradeep there and he is the coolest person to talk to at the resort. The rooms are big, clean, and well located with garden access and sea views. The coffee in room is charged after day one, it could perhaps be kept complimentary. Divya and raj were always there to help us out with any kind of info we needed. Personally, for me the marked running track was a bliss. Had a couple of nice runs. The breakfast spread was great, a little change of variety everyday could help. Overall, a great stay and look forward for a visit again.

We visited So Sofitel Bel Ombré Mauritius in June 2022 for 6 nights and the experience was wonderful. Right from the check in till check out, services provided by all the hotel staff are top class. For an Indian couple, especially vegetarian , food outside India is a big challenge but the chef at the resort Mr Vikram ensured we get the required Indian food everyday during our breakfast and dinner and the taste was delicious. This resort is situated south and is a little isolated but it’s so big that you will require a day just to see the different things in this resort. Beach is amazing with different corals and you can enjoy the complementary water sports here. Pool and the surrounding grass banks are definitely worth exploring. Would recommend this place if you want to have an exotic vacation in Mauritius

We visited So Sofitel Bel Ombré Mauritius in June 2022 for 6 nights and the experience was wonderful. Right from the check in till check out, services provided by all the So Sofitel Mauritius staff are top class. For an Indian couple, especially vegetarian , food outside India is a big challenge but the chef at the resort Mr Vikram ensured we get the required Indian food everyday during our breakfast and dinner and the taste was delicious. This resort is situated south and is a little isolated but it’s so big that you will require a day just to see the different things in this resort. Beach is amazing with different corals and you can enjoy the complementary water sports here. Pool and the surrounding grass banks are definitely worth exploring. Would recommend this place if you want to have an exotic vacation in Mauritius
