Experience at the hotel was below the basic standards. Though there are basic amenities, the athletics were dated. A/C runs mostly on blower and temperature control not working. As there is no ceiling fan we had to complain the management for 4-5 times during different times of the stay. Technician attended however, no positive action taken. Anyone looking for decent budget would suggest them to please avoid this property.

We had booked 3 rooms for 6 people. For 1 nights' stay this was very much comfortable. 2 rooms were nice but 1 room's bathroom was quite smelly. But Hansana from house keeping fixed the issue immediately. The front desk staff was very cordial and we had a smooth check-in and check-out. Good location with good views. Cannot comment on the food as we did not opt for the same.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ocean Colombo. The highlight was the breathtaking ocean view through the floor-to-ceiling glass wall, beautifully framed with large screens. Watching the waves roll in while trains passed along the railway track was truly mesmerizing. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel at home, while the food was equally delightful. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and stunning views – an experience we’ll cherish!
