Note to Pilgrims – Novotel Hotel Review Overall, Novotel offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms, well-maintained facilities, and a smooth check-in/check-out process. One of its biggest advantages for pilgrims is the excellent drop-off and boarding point for buses, which makes travel to the Haram or other destinations far more convenient. However, there are some areas where the hotel falls short: Restaurant & Café Service: The attitude and professionalism of the staff in these areas are poor, and service is often slow or inattentive. Shuttle Bus Service: The hotel-provided shuttle from Al haram starts only when the bus is full Overall Staff Interaction: Outside of reception, staff courtesy and attentiveness could be greatly improved. We had initially done a booking for a day and then based on the interaction with the courteous staff Rayan and comfortable stay we extended our booking by 2 days the room has a bed and a sofa cum bed. iron, iron table, kettle. all the basic amenities. they do offer free shuttle to Haram every 30 minutes but it is not direct you have change in between. the location is bit away from Haram but could be considered as Uber takes 10 SAR and secondly the stays are comfortable

During check in time, it took 40-45 min for the front desk staff to allot me a room on 6th Feb 2025 Thursday mid night. They told me to wait as some error is showing in their system but were busy with assisting other customers. I lost patience and informed them that I am too tired after long journey and want to take rest. Then, they allocated some room. But they gave sufficient time for check out (due to heavy traffic on friday afternoon).

Note to Pilgrims – Novotel Hotel Review Overall, Novotel offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms, well-maintained facilities, and a smooth check-in/check-out process. One of its biggest advantages for pilgrims is the excellent drop-off and boarding point for buses, which makes travel to the Haram or other destinations far more convenient. However, there are some areas where the Novotel Makkah Thakher City falls short: Restaurant & Café Service: The attitude and professionalism of the staff in these areas are poor, and service is often slow or inattentive. Shuttle Bus Service: The Novotel Makkah Thakher City-provided shuttle from Al haram starts only when the bus is full Overall Staff Interaction: Outside of reception, staff courtesy and attentiveness could be greatly improved. Recommendation: If the convenience of the bus boarding point is a major factor for you, Novotel can be a good choice even with these shortcomings. But if you expect consistently high service quality across all departments, you may want to consider alternatives.

We had initially done a booking for a day and then based on the interaction with the courteous staff Rayan and comfortable stay we extended our booking by 2 days the room has a bed and a sofa cum bed. iron, iron table, kettle. all the basic amenities. they do offer free shuttle to Haram every 30 minutes but it is not direct you have change in between. the location is bit away from Haram but could be considered as Uber takes 10 SAR and secondly the stays are comfortable

It is an absolutely pleasure staying at Novotel Makkah Thakher City. Hotel can have family was very happy with the service again. If you're visiting will choose the same property. This is very calmness near the property and it's very good. We have 24 seven shuttle available to Hara. Of course, would recommend anyone with family special to visit this calm and very good.

Absolutely perfect day, what we were expect from a normal chain of Novotel Makkah Thakher Citys and of course the service was up to the mark. Everything was good. No problem with anything as per promise. Everything was given very well and in-house restaurants are also very good so you can go for the food if you're from anywhere in the world,

Good Novotel Makkah Thakher City, little far from Haram but bus services available every 30 minutes direct from Novotel Makkah Thakher City to Haram and return as well every 30 minutes. Good room, courteous staffs, and cozy ambience. Bed and room was good. Went with family and stay was good. Nice location as well.

It was not comparatively expensive since the season in Mecca is round the year and other Novotel Makkah Thakher Citys of the same category provide in a much higher price. The breakfast was delicious. Overall it’s value for money..
