Review Summary

This property is loved for its super friendly staff and convenient location, just a short stroll from Ikebukuro station and surrounded by shops and eateries. Guests appreciate the clean and cozy rooms, plus the great breakfast options. Although some found the rooms a bit small, the overall ambiance and service make it a popular choice, especially for first-time visitors to Japan.
Hotel location is very good
Tokyo, officially Tokyo Metropolis is the capital of Japan and one of its 47 prefectures. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. In 2015, Tokyo was named the Most Liveable City in the world by the magazine Monocle. The Michelin Guide has awarded Tokyo by far the most Michelin stars of any city in the world. Tokyo was ranked first out of all fifty cities in the 2015 Safe Cities Index. Hotel location is very good, near to the Ikebukuro station (one of the commercial districts of Tokyo). The hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. We found the place good and recommend you to stay there. There are several restaurants around the hotel, and shopping areas. We ate authentic Japanese cuisine. There is a language problem - at the hotel but with google translator it becomes easier. The buffet had variety of choices, especially for people who don't like fish or cannot have Japanese food. The staff helped us plan our Tours, local sight seeing and also Booked our airport drop. The best time to visit Japan is in November / December and March/April. One should plan a day trip to Mt Fuji and block a seat and the bus early - the hotel staff can help in that.
