A quaint, cozy little Hotel British House tucked away far from the hubbub but close enough to restaurants and shopping. The standout here is the very warm welcome and service by Mr. Shota and his team. They make guests feel very at home with their personalized care. This is a small, but well appointed and meticulously maintained Hotel British House. We opted for a room with balcony thinking it would be spacious. But, this is an attic room on the second floor with narrow spiraling stairs. The bathroom is tiny (5×5 ft) and has just the bare amenities. The room has everything you would normally need, and they do carry the bags up and down for you. However, if you were to consider this room, please note the above. Breakfast is made to order and served at the table. Not very extensive, but adequate. We do appreciate how they served us earlier than the operating hours on our last day. A good experience to have...the warmth makes up for some small inconveniences.
