The place was nice, and the staff was nice, on the beach - so that was lovely. But they seemed understaffed. No one to help with luggage. That was the one thing that sort of affected our experience.

My recent stay at Tropical Resort Langkawi was truly exceptional! The rooms were impeccably clean and just sufficient for 2 people, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, which was served to the hotel room. I highly recommend this hotel!

Place is good but average welcoming tendency

Overall stay at the resort is good but below feedback needs to be considered for improvement 1. The lady at the reception is not welcoming at all. She talks as if she is not interested in giving any information. I am not saying she should be smiling and talkative and all but the basic welcoming tendency is 0. 2. Door mat is not there for room as well as bathroom. 3. Pets (cats) which is there at the place is disturbing the guests.

I wanted to call and report this issue

While we were checking out the room, my husband dropped the phone in the garden area. We checked out room and we got to know phone was missing. We ran to room and checked three times under the bed and pillow every where no where we found our phone. We went to reception and we asked to check cc tv. The staff denied. Later i went and asked the house keeping people who were cleaning out other room i repeatedly asked and came back to reception. Later, my husband found the phone under pillow. I went and told this to the receipt she says your person was irresponsible. We got the phone because we looked at it what if we had not looked at the phone in hurry. Although the staff was not ready to even hear me. First time something like this is happening. How did the phone come back to our room. Also, as we checked out first house keeping pp l did not come to our room to clean first' they went to our other room and they kept cleaning

Also there are so many restaurants just opposite and around the resort. The resort has an in-house restaurant called Melayu which serves authentic Malay dishes and is reasonable in terms of price. Their breakfast is very filling. The resort is about 10 kilometres away from Airport. The Sky Bridge or Cable Car is about 18 kilometers away while Eagle Square is about 14 kilometers away. The staff and owner are very helpful. A must stay place.
