Pathetic experience at Pembroke Townhouse

Firstly, they have a reception where you need to hunt, shout and wait till you see a receptionist. There is no one on the desk when you get there to check-in, because there is only one staff member on duty and he also has to go behind the kitchen to get plates cleaned and sorted. I had to physically go to their kitchen to drag him out of there after shouting, ringing the bell and waiting for close to 15 minutes at the reception with my taxi waiting outside as I was checking out. Next, I got a room which was kind of an extension to the reception and could easily have conversation with anyone who was coming into the place every day that I stayed here. The taps and shower have either very hot or very cold water only as options. You can't mix them to get an optimum temperature, unless you are carrying a bucket with you. Food as an option doesn't exist in this place except probably the mint. Best avoided.
