Breath taking view of the river from rooms!
Away from the city but to a close drive. A must stay if you are visiting Punakha. Food is expensive here as compared to Bhutan food rates and taste wise okay too. Staff is kind and helpful!

Good Stay
The location was great. The room was really nice and wonderful. The cost of food was much on the higher Side.

It's bad and bad. Nothing is good in this property. Very bad service. 2 options in breakfast bread and tea.

Stay was pleasant
Hotel is located at pleasant location though far from main Punakha Town, room and bathroom are spacious but maintenance was quite low. Food and service was really amazing, truly indian taste.

Excellent view
coupleThe location of the hotel is fabulous. It's just next to the river and when you open windows of your room in the morning, the view is mesmerizing. I got a room with a bathtub in it, which was an added advantage. Highly recommended for everyone. Not far from Punakha, budget hotel.

Stay in Himalaya dragon resort
Well I had stayed there for two nights. The location of the hotel is good, staff is humble. Room was spacious and lake facing. The only negative about the hotel is that it had water issue with hot water and the flow of water in the bathroom. This hotel score on its ambience.

Very poor service, reluctant staff
coupleOut of Punakha Town and requires additional permit. There is no access to the River. Many thing s differ than stated in your web site. I think you never visit the properties before offering to your customers. We feel being cheated.

Enjoyed the spa
Spa experience was really good and the view from the first-floor room was really nice with a nice balcony.

Excellent location
Best USP of this hotel is its location. It's awesome and offer great service. Provides food and lodging for the driver also. Away from noisy tourists it is a peaceful location with great views of river and Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. You can watch water birds from balcony itself and oldest Bhutanese village Rinchengong is walking distance. Will love to stay next time too.

Good stay
familyWe had a great stay. The location is the best among the hotels we stayed during this trip. Nothing to mention except that the breakfast was not up to the mark. They could have spreader some more food items.

My family stay at HDN
familyExcellent location on bank of River and Valley. You See the sunrise as rooms are east facing. Outside City limits. Scenic location, excellent staff and service. I will prefer to stay in this property if I visit again. Food is testy.

Excellent place
This hotel is just near the bank of the river, with a mesmerizing view! Location is known as Wangdi, which is around 10kms aways from Main Punakha! You have a small market 4-5 kms away and it’s nice to spend time there! We had complimentary breakfast and it was fair enough with a big fresh fruit platter. Hotel is maintained very well, a perfect place for someone who wants a peaceful stay!
