The location of this Hotel is perfect. It is across the river and you get there by crossing the Chappel bridge. 5 minutes from the Railway Station. The location was the saving grace. We were in touch with the reception even before we landed in Europe. They failed to inform us that the reception of this Hotel is not at the Hotel. So when we reached there on a day of rain and snow, carrying our luggage. We realized that we had to go elsewhere to check in. If you lucky to understand the sign on the glass entrance door, you would also figure it out. But its not easy. We had to again take help of Google to find out where this other place is where the reception of this Hotel is located. Walk all the way with out luggage in rain and snow. Check in and then be told. That now you have to again carry the luggage back to the glass door where you started from. How bizarre and the worst part is that they didn't even bother to mention that in the email. There is no phone in the Hotel room for any kind of room service. The room floor was not cleaned for 2 days. And the Hotel staff was well cold. So, all in all. The location was the saving grace.

Hotel is very well located. It's quite close to train and boat station. Room is small, but cozy with farm decor. They have room names rather than nos. All eatery are close by and lake Lucerne views from few rooms. It's amazing place to stay if you are travelling with family.
