Terrible Stay
Terrible staff during at night, my booking not match my room. I wasted my money, i hope i can refund it. I was not able to sleep from a very long tired travel, its very hot, paid room with aircondition but they give me room looks like very small. Very bad ordor, no anything like bottle water. Yes location is accessble bit money is not wortb or just the staff.

I couldn’t stay here because of the bad neighbourhood. I had to book another hotel and not check in here at all. I just went to check the surroundings as my colleagues mentioned about the neighbourhood. Not where I’d want to stay as a tourist.

The rooms are small. Bathroom and washrooms are extremely small. Like it’s very difficult to even fit in the bathroom.

Generator hamburg is an iconic building just outside the hamburg hbf. The single rooms are good but the dorms have very sad toilets. The shelf over the wash basin makes it terrible to use but if that was removed and baskets installed on the door instead, shower curtain removed, shower head changed to a good one then it will change everything. Yes, i know there's a big bathroom in the corridor but that's far away from most rooms.

I've stayed recently, in a 8 beds dormitory. Bedding was extremely clean and comfortable, this is a plus rarely you can find in a hostel high quality mattress and duvet allow an excellent rest, if you is lucky with your room mates behavior. The same for amenities (sockets, Reading light, shelf, integrated storage) in each bunk bed. Beds are assigned at check-in, so you have not to arguing to define your place, as beds are already settled and you don't need to spend your time in making and undo it because all are already done by keepers). The dormitory where I've been hosted was equipped with two tiny (but not cozy) prefabricated plastic cubicles, one for toilet and one for shower get ready to live the motor homes bathroom experience! To have a bath without become a contortions ist, shared bathrooms are available in each floor, one for Male and one for female in this case get ready to get in queue. Only one of the two available lifts was running, the other one seems it was a fake. So all the guests of the rooms were forced to wait for a long in overcrowded lift lobbies don't forget to add a waste time of minimum 10 minutes every time you need to go up and down (if you have your room on the seventh floor, as mine was). Position, just some meters to the main station/tube/light rail, give the surpassing opportunity to be easily connected. Every kind of shops and restaurant are just around the corner, as the diverse humanity of the barrio. But no-one will get you in troubles. If you are looking for a posh place stay away from this and go to Blankenese, but maybe in this case a lively design hostel is not the right choice. Affordable price, adequate for position and standards offered I had no experience about breakfast. WiFi runs properly, more or less everywhere. Concerning 24/7 reception, fast check-out, common lounges, beverage dispenser and stuffs rental nothing to suggest to improve. If something could be raised.

The hostel was very clean and nice. There was plenty of room to hang out outside of the rooms such as a chill lounge. The service was very good, there was always someone there to help you. The bathrooms were clean, unfortunately there was no kitchen we could use.

3 people slept one night in bedroom. Location at the main station -just great! Room was clean with small bathroom (just like in planes) but I liked it. People at reception are nice and kind. Would recommend for sure.
