Location is decent, food is quite average, most of staffs are excellent. Only few staffs seemed to be overworked, made the experience slightly bitter. Best to keep it as a last option.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Krabi, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and elegant ambiance set the tone for a perfect getaway. The property is stunning – nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. The colonial-style architecture adds a unique charm, and the sprawling pool (one of the largest in Thailand!) is simply spectacular. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered a serene view that made every morning feel like a dream. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was spotless and well-stocked.

Special thanks to the concierge team for their excellent recommendations and assistance in arranging island tours. The facilities at the resort are top-notch. The lagoon-style swimming pool, one of the largest in Thailand, is a perfect place to relax. The spa services were rejuvenating, and the golf course added an extra touch of luxury. The resort also offers a variety of activities, from water sports to cultural experiences. The dining experience was outstanding. The restaurants serve a delightful selection of Thai and international cuisines, and every meal was a treat. Overall, Sofitel Krabi is a paradise for those seeking luxury, relaxation, and world-class hospitality. Whether it’s a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this resort exceeds expectations. Phenomenal! we really enjoyed the swimming pool and all our meals, specially at venezia, the italian restaurant.

It's not as fancy as it seems outside. Rooms are a bit dated. Also, there was a cloud burst on the day we arrived. We were standing outside sofitel in the watchman's cabin requesting them to arrange a buggy/car/some transport from entrance to reception area. After waiting for 30 mins, they said the driver is not available even though many sofitel vehicles were coming and going past the entrance. The thunder and lightning was super scary and the short cut route was covered in rain water. We just went to our room drenched in water. The receptionist said they didn't know about this while the watchman said he already informed them. Anyways, it is not at all the kind of hospitality you would expect from a hotel like sofitel. They really don't care about you. There are many good hotels available in that location. You can prefer that over this.

Had another pleasant stay with sofitel, a good place for a family stay, and vegetarian food options for breakfast are extremely limited. Good staff and best pool experience for kids

Lavish property with extraordinary facilities. But many facilities usage is on chargeable basis, so it becomes too expensive if you want to use all facilities

It’s a well maintained beach resort with affable staff; a variety of restaurants. Good indian and italian food served at speciality restaurants. Bar in the lobby with live band and the longest pool in thailand are the added attractions.

The location is very good and the staff is friendly. However, the rooms are evidently dated. Our room had a broken kettle, unclean/blocked shower head, a torn towel and bath robe, and a noisy door. After spending a good amount of money for a five-star property, i don't think any guest would be okay with such issues.

It’s amazing how a hotel of this reputation treats its customers poorly in person. Firstly, after receiving a confirmation on king size bedroom booking, we were told at-least one hour post checkin time that we were allotted twin beds. We have made tens of reservations around the world through mm t and other agencies but never faced this issue. On top of that, the staff at the checkin appeared least courteous, empathetic when we raised this point. We were 5 families with 3 young kids who were made to wait well into the checkin time before we finally got our rooms. When we asked to speak to the manager, the at the counter pretended as though she did not hear me the first 2-3 times and finally someone came up and claimed they were the manager and again, no acknowledgement of the issue or any demonstration of courtesy. Terrible experience so far. What took the cake was at that at the dining hall (breakfast, the server would not bring me a glass of water which i requested for as i was feeding my kid at the table. She (looknam) pointed me to the water station and asked me to go get it from there (knowing very well that i was alone there with my child at that point and could not go myself even if i wanted to. Apparently the same treatment was meted out to other folks in our group as well. Sofitel you are not getting our money again and please know that you are not even one of the best hotels we have been to- so may be teach your staff to save the attitude and get a lesson or 2 on customer care and courtesy.

Great property with the best pool. Their food and breakfast was excellent. Rooms are big and king bed is larger than regular king bed. Bathtub was nice as well. I recommend this property over all the others.
