Our stay at Novotel Koh Samui was worth every penny. The private Beach, super spacious rooms and washrooms gave it a super luxurious feel. The breakfast does not have many vegetarian and Indian options but the bakery and fruits suffice for it.

The property is quite good though old. Rooms are quite big and well equipped. The location is awesome you are in the heart of Chweng in 5 minutes. No playroom for kids. The staff lacks understanding of English language due to which there is sometimes confusion in what you have asked and what you get.

Room was superb, and overall cleanliness was good. Good location if you do not wish to stay in secluded areas. However, hotel staff should be trained to speak and understand better English, it being a big hotel chain. Other similar hotels in the same area had much better veg meal options. Sea is too calm and shallow here to go for a swim.
