Stay at liberty theatre hotel tiblisi

Booking through MakeMyTrip was very smooth & i appreciate the prompt customer care service. Liberty Theatre Hotel at Tiblisi is at prime location and all the bus stops are within walking distance. There are many eateries around the corner and the area has a good vibe. But it is a hassle for a solo traveller like me who had to climb a lot of stairs to reach the hotel with a heavy bag (winter packing). Rooms are decent & clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were very nice but language was a problem. Like I desperately wanted water bottles after getting back at hotel late evening but the staff on duty couldn’t understand my request & hung down the phone. I was thirsty all night & was very uncomfortable. If any medical emergency arises how will the guest communicate? I suggest appoint someone at the reception who speaks & understands a bit of English which is a universal language. However, on the day of my checking out i needed a cab to drop me at the airport. The lady at the reception didn’t speak english but she made an effort to communicate with help of an App translator and arranged for the cab. Again to bring back the heavy bag down without help was a challenge for me. But the lady on duty was kind enough to carry the bag till the cab which was quite a distance and lot of stairs. But overall it was a good stay as per the budget.
