Very small room. They don’t clean it and lay the bed daily. Location is good with many Indian restaurants nearby

location was very good. housekeeping was very poor. staff at reception during day were helpful but one of the staff in evening shift was rude. faced multiple issues like wifi not working - had to change room, towels not changed, coffee mugs, used plates not replaced. not much option for veg breakfast

Stay and hospitality was good. Indian restaurant adjacent to hotel was really helpful. Hotel is in the centre of city and it helps to reach any destination conveniently. However, room was small, but manageable. Overall it was very good stay at ibis styles at kings-gate

The stay was average. Rooms are small. The passage and overall fell of the hotel and room internally is just about average. Location is good - that is the only positive. The receptionist was slow even dor smallest of things like asking for room key. Will opt for other hotel in the future.

Four days stay. Supportive staff. Cleaning and maintenance was good. Breakfast service was also very good.

Room is too small and no ventilation in the room. Our room was in the last of the building. Breakfast is very limited

Hotel staff was really good and cooperative. I felt hotel rooms are little small in size and suffocating otherwise cleanliness was perfect.

The hotel is located in an obscure place with limited connectivity. There are no shopping centers within a walkable distance for daily needs. The service is ordinary with limited staff with front office remaining closed. For a resort to function adequately, there should be availability 24/7 support staff. The room linen is changed only where new guests come in as they have limited supplies.

We stayed at Ibis for 4 nights on a leisure trip to Melbourne with family. The USP of the hotel is its convenient location right across the Southern cross station. The Sky bus shuttle service to the airport also originates from Southern cross. Supermarkets like Coles and Metro are also located in the station vicinity. The room was decent enough with comfortable beds. The wash basin needs to be revamped as it had two separate taps for hot and cold water which was practically impossible to use.

I won't even consider this to be termed as Hotel. This was just like a lodging facility. Rooms & corridors are badly cramped, dull & full of negative vibes, It's just the ground floor lobby, which is maintained as average. But, as you get in & come out of the lift on the floors above, its all rubbish. I was staying in Room 545, 5th floor along with my wife & daughter. As you come out of lift, you see room doors painted GREEN & corridor walls (upper half) painted BLACK. Corridor is very narrow with long pathways & dull combinations room entrances all around. Flooring in corridor & room was quite uneven all through, and was covered with dull dirty carpet. Layout of room was also badly designed, and I had to re-arrange it myself to bring it to my level of acceptance for the stay. Condition of glasses on room windows was also very bad, and glasses had been opaque with urgent need of replacement. Hence, I strongly recommend that this facility should NOT be considered for stay as Hotel, and can only be used if someone is looking for a very CHEAP lodging facility.

Here there is no food. So better to buy from outside. Near by lots of restaurants are there where you can get food till midnight. The location is in CBD. So you have lots of options of transport till late night.

In future I will definitely choose this hotel to stay in Melbourne. You also can easily recommend this hotel to your other customers without any hesitation.

Not a good hotel to stay and does not have value for money at all. Uncomfortable bed, staff was not kind and courteous. Room was ill equipped and did not have the positive ambience at all. Do not recommend at all to solo travellers and family. Research carefully.

We enjoyed the stay with Ibis, and this is going to be our permanent stop whenever we go to Melbourne. It is very close to public transport and all the restaurants, clubs and malls. The hotel rates are very reasonable and very clean. It is best for all occasions either business or pleasure.
