Bahrain Air was a privately owned national carrier based at the Bahrain International Airport. Set up in July 2007, Bahrain Air initially operated alongside the state-owned pan-Gulf airlines Gulf Air to meet the increasing need of low cost carrier among Indian population living in Gulf region.
