About Langkawi (LGK)
Situated at a distance of 30km from the mainland coast of north-west Malaysia, Langkawi is a cluster of 104 islands. This archipelago of lush islands is located in the Amndaman Sea. The islands are separated from the mainland Malaysia by the Straits of Malacca. The coastal areas particularly are flat, alluvial plains lined with limestone ridges. Nearly two-thirds of the island is covered by dark woods, chains of mountains, lush hills and a natural flourishing vegetation. Apart from air planes, boat ride serves as an exciting and most sought after medium of reaching to this destination. Langkawl Ferry operates fast A/C boats from Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah, Penang and Satun. And Telaga Harbour operates its ferries from Ko Lipe, Thailand. Almost 18 miles long and 9 miles wide, the land offers though no such urban sophisticated fun, but pure nature bliss. This is the place where you find abundant underwater action, verdant plains and elevation. Its local culture and a diverse ethnicity are additions on its charm. Mostly tourists come here to cool off their stress, and this is what Air Hangat Village does. Containing a beautiful 3-tier fountain and a giant hand carved river stone mural, the village is well known for its spa. Get soaked here in pool or just take a casual stroll around the place. The restaurant here offers an amazing culinary experience, with a well fusion cuisine. Atma Alam Batik Village is more of the art lovers' destination as it comprises batik workshop, art gallery, showroom and handicraft shops. If you are one who takes pleasure in solitude in the company of nature. Buffalo Park and CHOGM Park are two such venues where nature seems to embrace the visitor in its loving presence. Field of Burnt Rice, Galeria Perdana, Gunug Raya, Mahsuri's Tomb, Lagenda Langkawi Dalam Taman and Laman Padi are other tourists attractions. Traveling high above in the air, cocooned inside the cable car, the Oriental Village located in the upper northwest of Langkawi Island provides an enjoying cable car ride. It takes the visitors high above in the air to Mount Mat. Cincang. MakeMyTrip.com offers you a unique opportunity to book online the cheap tickets to Langkawi. It does not matter if you are a habitual traveler or first time traveler, MakeMyTrip makes your journey silver smooth. Get amazing discounts and cheap rates.
About Saudi Arabia (SA)
The mystical land of Saudi Arabia boasts beautiful oases, psychedelic desert sunsets, dramatic mountaintops, endless sand dunes, apart from rich culture and heritage. Saudi Arabia’s two holiest cities, Medina and Mecca are the main destinations of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages that draw millions of Muslims every year. Riyadh, the capital is a curious combination of crumbling old and glittering new. Visit the Masmak Fort, Deera Square (where public executions take place), Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque, Red Sand Dunes, the Edge of the World, the Camel Trail and Ad Diriyah. At sunset, climb the Skybridge tower! Jeddah has the most beautiful Old Town in the Gulf. The Red Sea with great coastline and beaches is unmissable! Today, Jeddah is Saudi Arabia’s buzzing cosmopolitan hub, home to gleaming hotels and big-ticket events like the Red Sea International Film Festival. The city’s heart is still intact in Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Abha offers spectacular mountains and colorful heritage villages, lush green hills, wild monkeys and some striking local architecture. Jizan has Yemeni-like culture and Fayfa and Absiyah, two gorgeous mountain villages. Al-Ula is a replica of Petra and Wadi Rum but without tourists. Meals in Saudi Arabia are rich, spiced, usually accompanied by rice or bread. Meat is an essential part of main meals, followed by sweet tea. Fuul (beans), Falafel, and Shawarma are diet staples, though not traditionally Saudi. This is but a taste of what awaits you in this elusive and mysterious country. You can book your flights with MakeMyTrip India.
