Excellent property for your stay in Pelling. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with a great view. The staff are pleasant and the service is great. Only vegetarian food is available but the quality and taste is excellent

The overall experience of staying in this property was good. The location is also good. There are a few negatives I would like to mention for the hotel to improve. The number one being that warm water was not adequate in all the rooms we booked. The number two being despite booking for 2 adults and 2 children below 5, no extra bed was given and we had to pay extra for it. In other hotels we stayed, this was not a problem. Rest everything was okay. The staff is very good and helpful.

Location was not a problem and neither was the service staff. The problem with this property was that they neither had a temperature controlled room nor had extra beds and they denied space for drying clothes. The food was very average to be precise.

Hotel is in good area but there is no sufficient parking space. Breakfast is good. Room is small. Actually not enough space for 2 persons on the last floor and they provided it for 3 persons. Otherwise all is ok. Good budget hotel.

Be ready for surprise charges in the name of their hotel policy. Hotel is not having any AC or heater and only available with charges. Services require improvement as second day room service did not replenish dental kit and disposal bag etc. Rooms are clean and towels and bed sheets were good.

Our 3-day stay at Udaan Hotel Pine Crest was one of the best parts of our entire trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breathtaking Kanchenjunga view from our room was the most spectacular we saw throughout our journey, truly unforgettable. The hospitality and warmth of the staff were beyond words. From the reception to the restaurant team – Bishal, Sunit, Nima, Pratik, Sewan, Joshna, and Sushila – everyone made sure we were taken care of with genuine care and courtesy. The food was fantastic. Every meal, whether breakfast or à la carte, was fresh, hot, and full of flavor , which truly elevated our experience in the cool mountain setting. Our room was excellent, comfortable, clean, and designed to make the most of the serene surroundings. Pelling itself is a gem, but staying at Udaan Hotel Pine Crest made it even more special and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and the best mountain views.

Average stay but beautiful view of KANC

Pros-The hotel has good interiors and staff are also very polite with excellent view of KANCHENJUNGA from the room. Food is also good. Cons- 1) The floors are very very slippery , use bathroom which are extra slippery with caution or you can have a fall. 2) The room neither has AC nor has a FAN , when you ask the hotel staff for a table/standing fan they deny having one and in place provide a room heater with blower. 3) To add to this woe the worst part is you cannot open your window once it is dark , you will have an insect attack , even the bathroom which has an exhaust fan gets full of insect in the night. But at last may be this hotel may not be good for a summer stay since PELLING was unusually hot this summer. Kudos to the UDAAN team for taking note of all this and as we had a early rescheduling of flight from BAGDOGRA, they transferred our 1 night booking to SILIGURI on request where the stay was excellent. Thanks to the UDAAN GROUP for the cooperation.
