Room smelled like sewage

I stay at Deltin every time I visit Daman and usually it is always a good experience. However, this time I don’t know what it was but from the second day onwards the room was smelling like sewage since morning. Initially I thought it is temporary and would go away but when I came back late night it was still smelling bad and it was the same next morning as well due to which I decided to check out a bit early because I couldn’t stand the smell anymore. The surprising thing is that the room cleaning service should have noticed it on my second day stay and should have reported to take proactive action but none was done leaving me with a bad experience this time.

We have mentioned that there is a honeymoon couple stay but they didn't provide any service gesture and also any special treatment as one of the biggest chains, Deltin itself, they should treat the guests with little gestures.

Five stars needs upgrading

Considering it is a five star hotel we were surprised it didn’t have smart tv. The room service who answers the food calls was unprofessional and hung up as I was speaking. Why the hotel played oriental music is a bit confusing.

Food is good. The staff is very good. Rooms are big and kept relatively clean. The room doors make a lot of thud and are disturbing at night times especially when the occupants are not bothered. Instead of plastic bottles the hotel could provide glass bottles in the room.

Very good property. It has a nice swimming pool. The rooms are also very spacious. It had 3 restaurants. Not at the beach, but a 15 minute drive.
