Awesome stay , beautiful view .

The location was stunning to be there for a night, and the care takers were really helpful. The only concern for me is they had swings in place those cushions on swings were not cleaned/washed apart from that the stay was really amazing. THERE IS ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND— there are nearly 150 steep steps we have to claim down to get to the cabin from road, climbing down could be okay but claiming backup is really something which normal people can’t do frequently so if plan things ahead don’t forget/leave anything on car since this is not a step up and step down to grab them. Must try if you’re planning to go for Pombarai.

My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The room offered a beautiful view that made the entire experience relaxing. The hospitality was excellent—every staff member was courteous and attentive. The location of the room was excellent. The view from the room was truly amazing, with beautiful mountains and a waterfall right in front of us. We could even hear the soothing sound of the waterfall from inside the room, which made the stay feel very peaceful. As the rooms are on the side of the mountain, there is a little walking required from the parking area, but the scenic surroundings make it worth it. One thing to keep in mind is to carry some snacks or food, as there are no nearby shops and you will have to depend completely on the food provided by the resort. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very poor and definitely needs improvement. Apart from the food, everything else was great. The room was neat, clean, and hygienic. The staff was polite and helpful as well. Overall, a beautiful stay with an amazing view, but the resort should really work on improving their food quality.

This stay is nothing short of a cinematic experience. You get to be truly one with nature here, and be with your essential amenities at the same time (including a strong wifi for your work). The view is a lush green valley with such beautiful skies throughout the day. We visited in September end, and there was a beautiful waterfall nearby as well. When you get out of your cabin all you can hear is birds chirping, wind kissing your ears and the calming hum of the flowing waterfall. Easiest place to meditate. Pro tip: DO NOT MISS the sunrise. It will be a highlight for your entire trip or maybe even the highlight for the entire year. The cabin is also really cozy and well made. The geyser works very well (which is quite a problem in most stays in Kodai). The place is really clean and you get most of the things you need. You even get food delivered to your room, for which you have to order in advance from their menu, and IT IS REALLY YUMMY. We really enjoyed every moment there, and just craved for more time 🥺. Honestly, there is only one thing I can think of as a con is - the cabin is located downhill on the valley so climbing back up is a real task for the elderly or someone who is not in the best health. Kid you not, it is a PROPER steep hike. Also, the road from Poombarai to Tehyca (4km) is in a very bad state, almost offroad, so be advised before travelling and plan accordingly. You can contact Tehyca, and they help out with local transportation. This is the only one thing you need to keep in mind before booking. Everything else is spot on. We cant wait to come back !

If you are coming here, you have to come with very little luggage & good stamina, as you need to step down a lot (350 steps), they get food from nearby restaurants which takes 2 hour to reach once you order. Location is inside a Village which is very good but roads are not good somewhere.

It’s a lovely offbeat spot with cute cozy cottage. Need to trek a bit to reach your rooms but they helped with luggage. Do check the room with host before booking incase you are not prepared for walk.

Food is average...stay is awesome....trek is horrible ...getting down steps...but view is worth it

I went with my parents who are senior citizens. For one, I did not get straight forward warning about the place or how high or deep the trek would be. They dont have an inhouse restaurant so the food ordered from the nearby restaurant would end up coming to the room cold. No emergency protocol incase an incident happens. Not enough staff around. There was only one guy to carry the luggage and he too asked us to carry the bags and help him out. The worst part was the owner was living in the premises, he didn’t even bother to come and ask us why we were checking out early.

We stayed there for one day the view the stay were all excellent there is a lot of privacy here as the cottages are very far apart. The shower was amazing

Breathtaking view, but the amenities are not upto the mark, asked the manager to repair the geyser as we weren't getting any hot water, guy never believed me and kept on saying "try again, later at the end of the stay during checkout i had to personally invite him into the washroom to make him try the taps and it was then he believed me. We literally had to use the water electric kettle to fill buckets to have a hot shower! wverything else was good

We had a one day stay at tehyca. The experience of this stay was amazing. This has an amazing view of the waterfall directly from the room. Property manager mr. Natarajan and other employees were very helpful and available for any query all the time. We need to walk down the hill to reach the room which would be difficult for any elderly people. They also would be serving delicious food based on your order. They also have a small microwave oven in the room to heat up the food if it's not hot while they get you food.

The good only good part was view, service is terrible, hotel is not as good as it charge, total waste of money and time l, please save your money and don't visit
