Stay at Somy Plaza
This was our first time at the Somy Plaza, and found it to be an excellent choice. The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. Beds are very comfortable with fresh white bedding changed every day. The breakfast is very good with a choice of Indian and Continental, fresh fruit and egg station, something for everyone. The pool is crystal clear and well maintained, with sufficient sunbeds for everyone with clean pool towels. The staff are helpful and friendly, especially Paul the manager, who was always helpful and attentive to his guests needs. We liked that on a daily basis he would walk around the hotel talking to all the guests, recalling everyone's names to ensure that they were happy and offer help and advice if they needed. The hotel is well presented, clean and maintained and central to bars, restaurants, and transport. We will definitely stay at the Somy Plaza in the future.

Terrible Stay
Our entire experience with this hotel was very bad. The plugs were not working even the fan was not working the mosquitos were biting ,the shampoo dispenser was not working the room was on the top floor of the building there were 55 stairs but no lift. You took double money than it deserves our family was sad because of the hotel wrong hotel the breakfast was average one day in the buffet there the watermelon was melted and rotten we had to tell them that the watermelon was rotten

For clarity, during your stay no issues regarding electrical sockets, fans, or bathroom amenities were reported to our teams, except at the time of departure, and upon immediate inspection thereafter, all fittings were found to be in proper working condition. Please note that our hotel does not have an elevator. At the time of your stay, the hotel was operating at full occupancy, and lower-floor rooms had already been allocated to senior citizens and physically challenged guests. As you had requested two rooms together, the upper floor was the only available option to accommodate this request. Our staff is always available to assist with luggage when required. Food quality and hygiene are very important to us. We appreciate the feedback regarding the watermelon, which was addressed immediately by our kitchen team. While mosquitoes can occasionally be present due to the tropical climate, regular pest control measures are in place, and we also have mosquito repellents in the room, and our team is always happy to assist with additional support as well.
Excellent Stay
Stayed here recently and had a comfortable experience. Nice ambience and the poolside area was super chill. Rooms were okay, but the balcony could use a bit of cleaning. Big shoutout to the reception and room service staff - super helpful and prompt! Food was tasty but limited options. Location's a win - easy access to road, beaches, and loads of eating joints outside. Overall, a good stay!

Excellent Stay
The breakfast was good, drinks in the bar were at reasonable rate. Bartender was also very friendly. Pool was very clean and not over clorinated. Room was also clean and good. The staff were helpful. Also, they provided packed breakfast per person as we have to leave early. Overall good experience.

Love the Rooms!
The location was quite convenient and easy to get around from. The food was tasty and had good variety. The staff were really polite, easy to talk to, and very helpful throughout the stay. Only small drawback was that parking is in a separate location, so I had to walk back and forth each time, but apart from that it was a comfortable and pleasant experience
