Excellent Stay
Overall, good property, food is good, walking access to beach, nice view. Only disappointed with the check-in process as we requested early check-in and need to wait for 2 hours.

Good Stay
We had a good stay at Riva Beach Resort. They have a private entrance to the Mandrem beach which is their USP. Food options are very limited and can be improved. Overall a good stay and a good resort to take your family along.

Pool View Deluxe Room and Property Review
Riva Beach Resort is great place to stay in North Goa which is having direct beach access. Staff is great, they accommodate your requests nicely. We stayed in Pool view deluxe room. It was nice room on 1st floor with pool view and easy access to the pool. Buffet menu can be improved, it was great few years ago. Points to be noted if travelling with baby: This property is not stroller friendly which is a minus point. Overall great experience.

Average Stay
Property is good, next to the beach, food is below par. Don't opt for the buffet. Hands down the poorest we have had both in terms of the spread as well as taste. For the price you pay the food is really sub par. The pool is good. Stay is good. Just don't go for the buffet.

Property was good and very near to private sea beach Rooms are ok Toilets are also ok Reception area was not air conditioned in this extreme weather also not very welcoming and professional staff No experienced and senior staff to take care at reception Buffet is also ok but not as per four star rating

Poor Stay
Positives - Private beach: Exclusive and peaceful, far better than crowded public beaches nearby. - Facilities: Green surroundings, swimming pool, gym, and spa add charm. - Welcome drink: Kokum juice at reception was refreshing and memorable. - Restaurant: Good food at reasonable prices compared to surrounding options. - Spa: Excellent service, professional therapists, and high-quality treatments. Negatives Breakfast: Varied but consistently poor in taste — became unpleasant over my 5-night stay. Location: Remote, with Anjuna and Vagator party hubs 17–20 km away. Rooms: photos; cramped, old, poorly maintained, broken fixtures, and a dirty bathtub. Housekeeping: Subpar cleaning despite repeated instructions; essentials missing (no body wash gel on day one). Birthday arrangements: Despite multiple requests for a cake to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday, none was provided. Only a towel decoration was arranged, which felt dismissive and disappointing. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Riva Beach Resort to anyone.

Average Stay
It was good experience visiting Goa and stay was also good. The rooms where we stayed were average and rooms are very old and have to maintain the hygiene for the rooms. The buffet items are very limited compared to the pricing which we pay in the package or for the rooms so the items to be increased in both breakfast and lunch/dinner buffet.

Excellent Stay
Resort has a great ambience and very good atmosphere for kids to play. One good thing is they provide baby food separately if requested. Staff are friendly and worth to stay.

Experience was good, but could have been better. The breakfast spread was average with very few options, at times room service was average and slow. The gym was not operational.

Good Stay
This was my second time I chose Riva. It's a good hotel for family stays, but it's far compared to Baga and Calangute. It's a very quiet area with nothing outside the hotel. If you are looking for complete relaxation by the beach, it's a good option, but if you like vibes, then it's not for you as there is nothing around. Food costs are higher, almost at five-star hotel rates. Compared to pricing, it's on the higher side; in this pricing, a number of well-known five and three-star brands are available. A plus point of Riva Resort is beach access, and there is a kids' pool out of the three pools.

the property location is excellent. beach is at a walkable distance. the beach is very clean and since it is only accessible through the nearby hotels, the beach is less crowded. pools in the resort are clean and food quality is also good.
