EXCELLENT STAY WITH DELICIOUS FOOD WITH PERFECT MOUNTAIN VIEW ALL AROUND THE PROPERTY. HUMBLE STAFF WITH CLEAN ROOMS AVAILABLE WITH ENORMOUS AMENITIES. THE PURE VEG FAMILY RESORT WITH SOME MESMERIZING MOUNTAIN VIEW.

Swimming pool filter not working Only 2 bicycles for ride Food was nice

The property is very nice, calm and peaceful. Food was good. Pool timings should be changed since it's summer time, people would like to be in the pool after sunset at least till 9:00 p.m. Services can be better.

Had a comfortable stay with good service. Rooms were neat and clean. Also vegetarian food served was good.

Stay at Mountain Shadow Resort was excellent. The resort is the midst of mountains, and very near to nature, well maintained property. Must visit during rainy season. Staff was cooperative. Food was very good. Only thing is only veg food is served, which I think wasn't mentioned anywhere while booking.

The location was superb. Food was a little bit costly, but tasty. All basic Amenities available and service was excellent.

The stay was good. Maintenance issues are there in the rooms. Location is great. Very strict on check out time. I found it’s rude. 10:30 is check out time and they asked us to checkout at 10:00 due to marriage booking. This is not a good sign of hospitality.

Pros: The property allows pets and, importantly, they do not create unnecessary hassle or charge extra for them. Initially, the staff seemed a bit surprised when I mentioned that I had cats, but they later confirmed that it was fine. I had taken a screenshot from MakeMyTrip mentioning the pet policy, as otherwise it can become inconvenient, but thankfully there were no issues after that. The staff overall were polite, cooperative, and helpful. Cons: 1. I had booked two rooms. In the second room, the washroom exhaust was not working and the room phone was also not functional. After I complained, I was shifted to another room, but unfortunately, the washroom exhaust there was also not working. 2. Breakfast was supposed to be available, but it got over by 9:30 AM as the property had hosted a corporate party. This was disappointing. Additionally, I lost my appetite after seeing one of the waiters emptying leftover uttapa from the dining table back into the serving dish on the buffet spread, which was quite unhygienic and unacceptable.

The hotel was average. The rooms need upgradation. Location is beautiful but a little far off. Only Veg option is available in the restaurant.

We stayed here for two nights and overall had a good experience. The property is clean and offers beautiful views. Renovation work was going on during our stay, but it was nice to see that they’re actively maintaining the place. A few things could be improved: the window lock in our room was broken, and the door lock was quite hard to operate. The air conditioner was very loud, and the fan regulator didn’t work properly. Apart from these issues, the room and bathroom were clean, and all the amenities listed on MakeMyTrip were provided. I’d recommend booking the Sky Suite if you want to enjoy the mountain views, it’s definitely worth it. The garden suite and jungle/mountain view rooms felt a bit pricey for what they offered, but the overall experience was still comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet and scenic. One important note: Google Maps suggests a route through “Take” village, which is extremely narrow and feels like you’re going the wrong way. Instead, it’s much better to enter from the Igatpuri city side and take the road next to the Sugar Vihar gate. There isn’t much to do nearby during the off-season, but the resort itself has plenty of indoor and outdoor activities - indoor games, board games, cards, and outdoor cycling. There are also great photo spots. It would be wonderful if they could arrange wood for a bonfire, which would really elevate the experience. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious and fresh, both breakfast and dinner were excellent and probably the best you can get in that area. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. I would recommend it!
