The room was spacious, comfortable and luxurious and well ventilated. The staff were very hospitable and kind and services were amazing. The food has a lot of improving to do.

Beautiful beach resort. One side backwater and other side beach. Good service by staff. Good is good. Amenities top notch.

The stay was average. The property is beautiful and the location is excellent; however, it could be better maintained. There was no one to guide us on what to expect or when. While the room appeared clean at first glance, it lacked attention to detail—the chair and fans had a noticeable layer of dust. The blanket cover had holes, though it was replaced upon request. The bathroom, however, was spotless, and the fittings were modern. In-room dining was a mixed experience. The paneer in the chilli paneer seemed stale and tasted off, while the noodles were very good. At dinner, frozen rotis were served instead of fresh ones, though the dal and sabji were flavourful. Due to low occupancy, breakfast was served a la carte; however, the selected items were fresh and well-prepared. Activities like kayaking and paddle boating were available, but guests were expected to manage them independently, which we chose not to do. Service overall was relatively slow. The benches overlooking the beach also needed better upkeep. Overall, the property has great potential and could offer a much better experience with improved maintenance and service.

The location and food was great without a doubt. Not a great start when checked in. Our room had an AC issue and despite the rooms available and hearing our criteria, the manager did not offer better rooms. Since there were less bookings, buffer breakfast was not there for one of the days. We went for our anniversary and despite telling them multiple times the reason for our stay, there was no proactive effort of making any complimentary arrangements.

the room was very good with all the required amenities plus the complimentary adventure activities and child friendly atmosphere make it a plus 10. The staff is very responsive and polite. The best part is the beach at the footsteps ahead. It is the best resort at cherai beach at affordable stay. Only thing that is a little minus is non availability of all the menu snacks at tea time. Plus the paratha of breakfast was a little thick to eat for a child. On the whole the experience was great. Thank you so much.

The location of the property is excellent, just on the beach! That’s the best part. Apart from this the amenities are decent. Room view was a drawback. Otherwise staff is good and friendly.

The location and ambience are very nice, but the room was not having proper AC. The menu in the restaurant was very limited. Whatever we asked was not available even though it was available. It was said like it was not available and there was so much of delay for delivery requiring food and in case of emergency and we called in the reception, no one was picking the call for more than 1 to 2 hours and there was no callback. Also, the service at this resort was very poor.

staffs are very kind and helping in nature. perfect Location for couples with lake view point. Enjoyed jaccuzi and swimming pool.

The property is very well maintained just at the backwaters bank with facilities for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing etc. Only complaint is they cancelled the morning spa (soul spa attached to the resort) booking 10 mins before the scheduled time. I had to leave by afternoon and couldn't book any other spa nearby.

I had the worst stay with maleikal it was a MMT luxe property but it was actually a poor small property and the rooms were totally different from what was shown in photos. I had asked them and MMT both for partial refund even I checked out early and rescheduled my flights because of this issue.

He is much more than a security guard; he is vigilant, polite, and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel secure and valued every time we entered or left the property. If you are looking for a place where luxury meets a personal, human touch, this is it. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful Location - In between the sea and lake. Great Ambience - Well maintained garden, Warm lighting. Delicious Food - Woods restaurant provides a wide range of menu and delicious food. Property is comparatively small but it is well planned. Provides calm and quiet experience even in the heart of Cherai. Suggestions: Automatic switching over to the generator could be implemented during power failure.

My stay at this resort was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow, mainly because there was clearly not enough staff available. The food had very little variety and the restaurant was below average. Despite this, the resort was very expensive, using Christmas Day as an excuse to charge more without offering anything special. Overall, it is overpriced and not worth visiting.
