very good start. clean room and hotel ambience is good. food quality is also good. standard is maintained.

Hotel Ambience was good , but rooms was not as much as expected , i have booked JSuite for my family , no upgration on rooms , rusted in bathroom sink , half cleaned bath rooms ,removed liquor bottle caps found below sofa set & also below d beds , not properly cleaned below d bed , highy dissopointed on this visit , Hotel Management : U r not giving free of cost to stay ,We people paying our money TOTALY NOT SATISFACTORY

We recently stayed at this hotel after booking it based on the photos online. Unfortunately, the actual experience didn’t quite match our expectations. The property felt a bit old and not very well maintained, which was disappointing considering the price we paid. The rooms and facilities could definitely use better upkeep. The service was average—staff were polite but nothing particularly impressive. On the positive side, the food was good and we did enjoy the meals during our stay. Overall, it was not really worth the price we paid. With better maintenance and attention to detail, this place could offer a much better experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and made it very difficult to get proper rest. The shower was poorly maintained and not functioning properly, which was quite disappointing. The air conditioning was another major issue — it was either too noisy or not cooling effectively, making the room uncomfortable. The only positive aspect was that the cleanliness was acceptable. However, basic comfort and amenities are essential for any stay, and those expectations were not met. I hope the management seriously looks into these issues and makes necessary improvements.

Property Location, Breakfast was good. Shower drain was choked. AC Water was dripping in the Aisle.

The hotel is centrally located. Room service, food quality is worth for money. The infrastructure, hotel staff are cordial. The room infrastructure was fine. Totally the experience is good and worth for money. Location is at prime spot.

Rome is very good, service is very good. Very comfortable in room in Pondicherry with the My Makemytrip app is very happy.

The hotel rooms are old, no carpet and it shows. Bathroom is good. Room sound from TV and even talking from adjacent rooms will be a disturbance. I guess thin walls. Food is very good if you choose a la carte. But the buffet menu did not change much from day to day while we stayed. Cleanliness is just okay. Staff are kind and helpful.

Breakfast is very good as well as the hospitality and liked the stay here.

Good location - not far from the French or Tamil quarters, close to the Aurobindo ashram. It isn't on the beach though. Food was very good. Rooms were clean. Would like to thank Thangam for her excellent service in the restaurant and Mani for his helpfulness.

I have given one star solely because of the housekeeping staff, the restaurant service staff, and the security guards, who were polite and courteous. This hotel is absolutely not recommended. Extremely unprofessional front-desk staff: The reception team is rude and completely unable to handle pressure, especially during the holiday season. Terrible food service experience: We ordered food twice, mainly for the kids and followed up more than 40 mins at late hours. On both occasions, the order was taken, but when we followed up, we were told no such order existed. This resulted in a heated situation, as 8 of us were waiting to eat and it was already very late. The hotel then offered complimentary sandwiches, only to call back after 15 minutes saying they would charge for one of them. We declined the offer, but the sandwiches were sent anyway. With hungry kids and no alternative, we had no choice but to accept two sandwiches. Ofcourse they had to be complimentary. When we asked to speak to the manager, the staff initially refused. The manager only came on the call after I raised my voice—something that happened purely out of frustration due to their mishandling of the situation. Hygiene issues: Small cockroaches were visible in the restaurant. Bathroom plumbing problem: On the first day, the bathroom drain clogged during a shower, flooding the entire bathroom. Poor location: The location is average with nothing nearby. It is far better to stay in the French Colony area or near Paradise Beach. Unpleasant room odor: The rooms had a constant bad smell.

I had booked for executive suite for 3 PAX. Hotel took time to get the allocation of room after getting into room with our request for the added space. Did not replenish the toiletry after a day. Additional bed was provided before we requested and placed it at not so comfortable place - did not have courtesy to ask where it should be placed.
