Review Of Hotel Windsor

very poor location and poor service. no water supply during night and necessary items like soap etc no supplied. during check out also no one helped us to get up to stairs. it is almost 100 steps down from the main road. very poorly maintained hotel.

Rather disappointing in all respects. The approach to the hotel itself is very difficult. Room furniture is simply unacceptable. Bathroom was clean, the television worked, the room service was very poor.

I recently stayed at Windsor Hotel on Mall Road, and it was a lovely experience. The location is perfect for exploring Shimla. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was polite and welcoming. Overall, a great stay! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shimla.

Food was decent but mattresses are not comfortable to sleep on and rooms are downstairs more like underground, and the hotel is in a restricted area of Shimla. They didn't mention that no cabs are available at the hotel.

The bottom line is that this hotel is located down 70 steps and when we arrived and told the booking time, the Deluxe room had a view of the hills, but it was in an underground space, and the walls were visible from the windows on the side.

Parking was the biggest issue, the hotel does not have any parking area; they will park your car somewhere else and will charge for that. The room was average; we had to ask for small things like slippers, soap, and a pillow. The toilet seat cover was broken. Besides that, the food was amazing.

The hotel service was poor

It's a good place to stay on a budget, also it's connected with the mall road area. Food is acceptable. Our stay has included breakfast. It's overall good but doesn't have many options.

due to road closure and ongoing drainage work, reaching the location was quite difficult; amenities included only hot water in the washroom, all other things were chargeable.

one more best hotel in Shimla. Mall road distance 800 meters approx. Staff behavior very nice and they are very helpful. Room and accommodation is best in this budget.

Hotel located near mall road overall experience is good just to mention only one thing hotel extension telephone is not working properly otherwise service and all is very good

My stay at the Windsor Hotel was fraught with problems. The location, over 250 debilitating steps below the main road and far from the Mall Road, is simply unacceptable. Compounding this, the promised Wi-Fi did not work at all (forcing my departure), and the room lacked basic comfort essentials like carpet and proper heating.

Hotel and room was fine provided that you are capable enough to climb more than 67 stairs. Key points: 3 electric switches and sockets were not working, landline was not working even after complaining 4 times. The worst part was no phone network in my room no 204 and staff said “Monkey ne wire kat di” when I asked for wifi. Bedsheet was stained with many spots(you know what kind of spots in hotels) which they changed on my request. Pick krte time they helped with luggage but check out ke bad paise mangte hain room se luggage niklwane ke liye bhi. Breakfast ki plates or cups b 2din tk nhi uthane aaye kafi bar kehne pr bhi, chai staff se table pr fail gyi na usey saaf krwaya, services is very bad sunnate hi nhi h bilkul or network bekar se vjh se bar bar upar aa aa k kehna b bhut dikat aayi hamein. Basement m room tha hmara. Achi bhali trip k experience ko stay ne irritating bna diya.
