Review Of HOTEL SHIVAAY

I had a very disappointing experience . We had booked this place during our pilgrimage trip, expecting a clean and comfortable stay, but it turned out to be completely opposite. The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell as soon as we entered. There was dust all over, clearly indicating poor or no cleaning. The washroom was not maintained properly, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. There was no proper room service, and basic hygiene standards were not met. It became very difficult for us to even spend a few hours in the room. As visitors coming for a religious trip, we were especially particular about cleanliness and comfort, but unfortunately, this hotel failed on all fronts. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent and hygienic stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The room was not properly maintained and cleanliness was below expectations. Basic hygiene standards were not followed, and the washroom was not clean. The bedsheets and towels did not feel fresh. The service was also unsatisfactory. Overall, the stay did not justify the amount charged. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. I hope the management takes necessary steps to improve their service and maintenance standards.

The hotel was nice, in a proximity to the main temple which was good for first time travellers in the area to visit the Somnath Temple. The rooms needed maintenance, mainly the bathroom where there were cleanliness issues and even the bathroom window was a bit damaged. Apart from that, if someone is just there for an overnight stay, they can consider this hotel.

They did not provide us clean blankets in the room and when requested they talked very rudely. The hospitality of this hotel is not satisfactory.

Great : vicinity to mandir back gate. Not so great: indifferent front desk.

Very poor rooms and toilets. Staff was very rude. Lift is also not working properly.

Nice stay at Somnath Jyotirling, pleasant accommodation, hygienic atmosphere, nothing felt adverse, I will recommend to everyone to stay there.

stayed here for a night during our visit to somnath temple and below are the issues we faced, 1-moist smell after entering the room. 2-pests or insects in bedsheet which kept bitting all night

The cleanliness seems to be an issue, taps were not working, bathroom was not clean enough. Need to improve

It is almost at the gate of somnath temple so who wants to visit temple multiple time is a great choice to stay here. Hotel has lift facility, hot and cold water, almost clean rooms which is good. Only drawback is not having in house restaurant so need to walk away every time almost 500 meter for good quality food.

The hotel, although visibly within 300 meters from the new mandir, is, via walking, about 12-15 minutes (including the time required to deposit bags phones at the mandir facilities) from the old mandir new mandir, and thus conveniently located for multiple seasons. Some views of the new mandir are possible from some rooms. For food - one has to explore options nearby (many available at the shopping centre also, near old mandir. Please inform the hotel staff in advance about your arrival and departure timings which might help them as well as you in planning the room allocations.

Quality of room, washroom & overall was pathetic. Faulty windows as water come inside room during rain

Pathetic experience. Owner was good but very bad rooms. Will never recommend this place. It was a real bad state of experience.
