Location excellent. My room was mountain view. Service of staff and food quality was very good. Overall very good.

Location perfect. Reached early morning rooms were not available (as check-in time). Then with an additional charge, they upgraded our room. Not so good.. don't go for super deluxe room. In the night time, we came after our dinner and were feeling scared, so we asked for another room. They gave us a deluxe room in the Norma wing. Overall okay hotel for a 01 night stay. Don't expect much... Just don't go for super deluxe room.

This was a decent hotel at a good location in the city. The room was basic. The bed was clean although sofa was not. Toiletries could have been better. Food is decent at economical price.

The room was not clean at all. It was completely different from what was shown in the application at the time of booking. The paint was peeling off, someone had spit gutka on the wall, and even the bedsheet was dirty. I chose this place because it is located between old hotels and Mall Road in Sikhar, but I never expected the rooms to be in such poor and unhygienic condition.

Stay was excellent, hotel location is perfect, taxi stand was nearby, food was good and had local Pahadi food.

Shikha staying was good but The White House is below hospitality with poor service.

It’s a huge property in the Mall Road, may not look so from the front facade, but you realize once inside. Location is very convenient for shopping around, at the same time bit congested during daytime if you want to drive in. Service is top notch, food average. I felt it requires a fresh round of paint inside the room.

I stayed well but my car and driver stayed on Main Road. Hotel even did not care for such people!

Decent around average to above average, standard rooms don't have coffee, tea pouches and no kettle and toiletries. Else it was a pleasant stay, staff was cooperative

The location is at perfect place, on Almora Mall road itself. There are SBI & RBI guest house inside it. Property is nice, but they need to take care of their bathroom accessories. We booked 2 rooms, out of which one's bathroom water taps were not functioning. On summoning the hotel reception, they fixed it, but the same problem persisted on the next morning. Over discussion it was learnt that it is a recurring problem in that room and hotel management didn't care to fix it properly. our room came with a balcony, which was mentioned during booking. It was actually an open Terrance common to all, accessible through a door in the room. The hotel comes with a restaurant and the food was obviously good, though a little overpriced. Most preciously, the hotel provides free parking for their boarders, which is a troublesome issue in the congested city of Almora. The Almora Mall is just outside the gate of the hotel, and can be accessed on foot for purchasing purpose. The hotel have also got a souvenir shop in the reception and there are travel booking place just outside the hotel, which definitely adds feathers to the hotel' cap. But yes the hotel management needs to think about their bathroom as there were issues with water taps. The doors were half rotten wood and there was no exhaust.
