Cottages are very clean ...every staff are very nice and friendly ... food also very nice ..I would like to suggest stay here it's very close to every single view points Overall good

Stay was good with staff very responsive. However, they do not answer any of the calls. While they offer good service once you are there at the resort, if you need to call them before reaching for any communication, they do not pick the calls.

Food, stay all average, location is good. Not giving umbrella, they are not providing running omelette counter, hot coffee, milk, another counter is not there. It's okay, we can't come at more on that average, not very less also it's okay.

They cheated on the names of villa rooms as all rooms were same. Bathroom tap was not working, they provided with steel buckets in bathroom which gave feeling of lodge. There was no Lakeview and poor service. I’ll not recommend this property. I feel I have been cheated with the amount of money I spend

Overpriced. It's far from the city. Any food is average but costly. Complimentary breakfast is too average, not much variety. Service of staff is good.

Hi, it's a very fantastic and fabulous resort. The Lakeview resort in Ooty. We enjoyed and received the food on time, and the delivery of all things was very good and precious for my children. My wife enjoyed a lot.

Excellent hotel in all respects when you think of visiting Ooty. To start from ideal location not too far from city centre. Great food in terms of taste, variety and quality. Number one hospitality. Cottages are well maintained, very neat and clean. Nicely decorated surroundings with plantation of colorful flowers and plants. Ample parking space within property. All these in very reasonable rate or in budget range. Only thing is don't go by name of hotel and expect Lake view or valley view directly from seating inside the cottages.

Very nice location and view surrounding the hotel is beautiful. Hotel is very well maintained and staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is very good and lunch in the restaurant is average. Few minor issues in the room like gap on main door, leaks on taps. Play area is very good and we can view corner of the Ooty lake.

I recently stayed at Hotel Lake View in Ooty, and my experience was quite average overall. The rooms were okay and the location is decent, but it didn’t really live up to what was promised. One of the main disappointments was that there is actually no proper lake view from the hotel, which was quite misleading given the name. The food quality was also not good and definitely needs improvement. Additionally, the restaurant staff was not very polite and came across as rude, which affected the overall experience. On the positive side, the basic facilities were manageable for a short stay, but considering the drawbacks, I feel there are better options available in Ooty for the same price.

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, and the view of the city from it was splendid. The breakfast spread was also quite tasty. I will certainly return during my next visit.

Execellent Stay with family! Food and staff are very friendly! 24/7 hot water is available and easy to access all the spots in Ooty!

Good Family Stay, food was good, service was good, well hygiene rooms, campus. Right next to Ooty Lake.

Not a value-for-money experience. The room key system was extremely inconvenient — lights operated only through the same key required to lock/unlock the door. If you removed the key to open or close the door, the lights would switch off. This outdated setup made even basic movement uncomfortable. Bathroom utilities were also of low standard and not in line with expectations. We were traveling with an infant and requested a knife and plate to prepare baby food, but even this basic support was not arranged. The situation was explained multiple times, yet no practical solution was provided, and we eventually had to travel nearly 1 km to arrange it ourselves. Despite being a large property, basic facilities and guest convenience were lacking. The distance between the room and restaurant involved steep uphill walking, with no buggy or assistance provided, making movement tiring — especially for families with infants. Overall, the location may be good, but service, responsiveness, and guest comfort were disappointing. Only good thing was food was of good taste..else 2/10

mislead name lake view.. no such view is there.. room pics as shown on make my trip are also not true. they are totally different.. the room alloted was not at good location as I . I came to know about this during a discussion at reception when I request for room change. no basic amenities like shaving kit bathroom sleeper iron box etc despite property as mentioned in make my trip. food quality was not upto the mark. no staff courtesy at breakfast area and at reception also. in short not at all value for money hotel.

The property overall was good. The rooms were decent and comfortable, and the food was satisfactory. A pleasant stay overall.

Stay was okay for the price they have put. Male receptionist was rude and the female receptionist was confused.

This was our second time here. Its a very good location with a lot of greenery and open space. Very well behaved and professional staff. The Cottages are very good and well maintained. Feels like our own individual villa in the valley.

Nice hospitality by Lakeview, good food breakfast is also having a lot of variety, clean washrooms.
