Everything about camp monk Bannerghatta is just awesome, great location, peaceful vibe and courteous staff. It has been my one day escape for many years now.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Monk, Bannerghatta from 26th to 29th March. Our group included three adults and two 11-year-old kids, and we had booked three cabins—each one was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for a comfortable getaway. The property is beautifully located amidst nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The food was absolutely delightful—fresh, flavorful, and served with great care. A special highlight of our stay was the BBQ experience on both nights. The team had thoughtfully arranged everything for us—perfectly marinated chicken, fish, prawns, paneer, and even pineapples, along with skewers and a ready-to-use BBQ setup. It made for such a fun and memorable evening experience. We also appreciated the well-maintained facilities and the attention to safety, especially since we were traveling with children. The entire experience felt warm and well-managed, making it perfect for both families and small groups. Thank you for hosting us so well—we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Camp Monk to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable retreat.

The stay was nice, however it is overpriced as there are not much activities except horse riding. There is hardly any water in the pond as well. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the camping resort, set in a calm, quiet, and safe environment surrounded by lush arecanut farms, jungle, and a serene lake. The night bonfire and barbecue added warmth and charm to the experience, while the morning moments spent sitting by the lakeshore were truly soothing and uplifting. Barbecue lovers will especially enjoy this place—you can bring your own grill or rent one from Campmonk. It’s advisable to call them in advance and plan your trip accordingly. The staff deserves special mention: extremely helpful, polite, and responsive. Their response time during service hours is excellent, which made our stay smooth and comfortable.

Property was good-connected to nature. It’s good for family and friends to getaway from city life and relax in such area which is close to nature. Breakfast was good.

Property is close to the city which makes it easier to access. We stayed in a cabin that was very neat, staff are polite and helpful. Cost wise I feel it's a lot expensive than the experience. Nature walk please don't go we were taken through a lake bed with overgrowth. Next day same path I saw snakes, be careful while engaging. They haven't maintained the lake but earning from it was disappointing. Food was average. Overall 3/5 property.

The common areas, campfire setup, and open spaces were perfect for relaxing or spending time with friends and family. Overall, it’s a great place for a quick nature getaway near Bangalore.

The staff was very courteous and the food was good too. The stay is nice if you’re looking to relax and spend some quiet time in nature. However, there are very few activities for adults, and overall, the experience doesn’t quite justify the high tariff. It’s peaceful but not really worth the price considering the limited things to do.

Had a relaxing stay at Camp Monk. Only 25 kilometres away from Electronic city wherein 70% of the commute is covered via Nice Road so takes less than an hour to reach. Expect a little off-roading in the last mile but the overall commute was easy, however they should install a few signboards. The stay was cozy and the staff was very very polite and helpful. Food options are limited considering the remote area but everything available on the menu was being prepared fresh so a little delay was expected. Indoor and outdoor activities were few and not in the best condition, and the lake was completely dry during our stay. Overall, a peaceful and pleasant retreat with some areas that could be improved.
