A शांत and scenic stay near Similipal, perfect for nature lovers. The cottages are simple but comfortable, surrounded by greenery and close to the Lulung river. Staff is helpful and food is basic but homely. Don’t expect luxury—facilities are limited and network is weak—but it’s great for a peaceful, offline getaway.

I had booked a river cottage view room which the Aranya Nivas claims to be a river view but you cannot see any such views. The tariffs were high for these view but it was disappointing. When we went down at the property to see the river it was at a distance and our room from far had all the debris dumped below the room which attracted people coming often at our balcony. There was camera right outside my balcony and facing room which was unsafe. Aranya Nivas claimed that they serve oriya food but when we asked they they served a very average food like north indian cusine. I did not find the manager welcoming. I felt they were just focussed on money. Property was average. No indoor activities like table tennis or snooker. We were reminded again and again about gas shortages on our every order while they had enough induction gas. Bathroom did not have 24*7 hot water. No hair dryer. I being an avid traveller understand that the property is in forest you need to be low key but when a hotel charges tariff of as high as per night we expect it to atleast give us a comfortable and welcoming experience. I would recommend people to avoid Aranya Nivas.

Lulang hotel stay was good, very nice location have lot activities to do hospitality of staff amazing and service are. Good, food is awesome, rooms are clean only issue we have encountered was water lagging in washroom which I was not expected this they need to fix.

I am totally disappointed by the attitude of the people, charged me 25/30 % extra above the Resorts actual charges. Very Disappointing, please check up with the respective hotels or resorts before booking. As regards the resort and it's services, no complaints, excellent behaviour of the Front Desk people particularly his team, restaurant, house keeping etc.

The property is beautifully located amidst nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Had a pleasant stay at Aranya, Lulung. Convenient location, clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff, and good food. Ideal choice while visiting Similipal.

Saty was very good, warm welcome with welcome drinks, staff is very polite and behaved .location is very good , it feels like you have dive into nature , dense forest , river water extremely calming.tree house room is superb it will give you very nature friendly vibe, mobile network does not work as you enter forest. so its digital detox as well(bsnl works). however wifi is provided in reception area for emergency use. they also have indoor and outdoor games for playing, also tribal dance is set up which is very good experience to watch. property itself is very good and full of nature beauty.for safari you can book at reception or can do booking online , river is just 3 mins walk where you can sit and enjoy nature.

Fooding are extremely expensive, quality good but individual veg quantity not enough for one person, otherwise excellent ambiance for family, not for couple.

I stayed here for 1 week Nature Forest Yoga retreat. Property - Excellent, clean, green, large property, huge garden. All Sports available - badminton, volley, cycling, Infinity swimming pool, cricket, archery climbing, rope walking, indoor games etc. Rooms - I had the opportunity to stay in all 5 room types including the Villa. All Rooms are better than a few famous 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Meadow suite and Villa are farther from the main area in peaceful location near all Sports. High quality Bathrobe, slippers, etc. all amenities available. Each room has the Bhagvad Gita book🙏 and a yoga mat 🧘‍♂️. Unavailability of network actually made me more receptive to the Lord's grace. Library available. Staff - Special thanks to Trekking guide: Mr. Rohit for making my trip memorable. He risked everything for a random guest. There is no trekking allowed in Simlipal so I was extremely disappointed but luckily I met Rohit sir who is experienced in navigating deep forests with local villagers. Entire staff is incredibly welcoming as other guests have rightly mentioned. Massage was among the best I have experienced that too for much lower price than 5star hotels. Food - Organic Food is great, variety is good, service is impeccable. Very caring❤️.. please experience for yourself! I had a rich experience here. Thanks Simlipal 🙏

One of the most spacious and greenery resorts I have visited, but needs much improvement in food and staff not many food options especially breakfast which was very disappointing, staff are not friendly and smiley, looking rude and not supportive. No wifi in the rooms, bathroom and rooms are smelling bad and have not been maintained at all.

Wonderful environment to stay on a weekend. Excellent hospitality and very good tasty food. Very well maintained property with ample space to enjoy the lush green environment.

It was really a very relaxing vacation and the property is beautiful . The property is located in a picturesque location. The food is mind blowing and the Chef is outstanding. The housekeeping team is very efficient and polite.

The place is beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay and enjoy the tribal dances at night. The river, forest and mountains nearby will create a mesmerizing view.

Location is very nice, it's quiet in the middle of a forest, it's isolated, there is no network coverage, but it's very nice for those looking for a serene off-the-grid getaway. I am enjoying it, I enjoyed it a lot, would go again and recommend to everyone to try for those who want to go for a serene nature-based vacation. The staff and the food were very nice. We have a small menu which changes daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it's dynamic and it's very nice. The service staff are also very nice and helpful.

we really enjoyed the whole ambience of the aranya nivas , i had childhood memories of the property. The only thing I hated about the property was the main receptionist , the dark old guy, who has really bad attitude. We requested the rooms to be decorated for the anniversary but instead the decoration was done as a indian tricolour as if it was independence day celebration. secondly , the non digital payment mode was not informed to us, even if the facility of phone pe was available during the checkout time , the WiFi was switched off intentionally saying it's not working. So the payment could be made in simple cash only. Other than that the working staffs room service, restaurant staffs were the sweetest people and also the whole property was peaceful!

The Aranya Nivas ,property was very good in it's natural Landscape. Mouth watering food was amazing .it was one of the best stay we enjoyed.
