The property is good but services are just terrible .....staff does not care for customer satisfaction at all ...no phones in the rooms, reception is not friendly ....no food services, had no running water in the washrooms for a long time,overall not recommended for anyone even at half the price

Kingdom resort- closest accommodation to stay outside Sun City in Pilansberg

Hi, I had booked Kingdom Resort for two nights, and it was just me and my mom. So, we were able to make it to The Resort in late evening hours, and regrettably did not meet The best of receptionists! Being a vacation in SA, I wanted to inquire some basic stuff about Sun City, and the lady at the reception seemed like she was being taxed for every bit of information that she shared (which was not much ultimately, since I stopped asking Qs after one or two tries). Hence, if you ask me about The staff courtesy- probably would be 2/5. Next, we did not have our own vehicle- and that's The biggest drawback if you want to book a stay in here. The reason is that The Resort is spread out in a sprawling area, and their internal shuttle for in room transfers is not very periodic, and doesn't exist in mornings at all. We were left waiting at The reception for good 20 minutes before their shuttle came in to drop us at our rooms. Hence, best is to have your own vehicle if you are planning to book this one! Also, the basic provision of complementary water bottles was missing in The room. We did not carry any water by own selves, and don't know if it's normal in SA hotels, but I was kinda surprised / My advice if you are looking for spending your Weekend/holidays in Sun City, do book The resorts within Sun City itself.

The hotel is good but no bottle of water provided, there are no phones in the room so you can't get in touch with the reception if you need anything, also the WiFi was terrible. It's a good hotel to stay in if you just wanna relax but it could have been much better as the property has good potential. If on a budget stay here.

Reception staff a little rude !! Very strict about check in times so don’t go before 1400 hours! The location is just before sun city! The pool and some other activities at the property can be enjoyed! They give some board games to play as well. They may charge a security deposit during check in which they shall refund you during check out. Don’t expect room service kind of stuff anywhere in South Africa! Great rooms with lovely decor!

Hotel is in close proximity to Suncity. According to me the best location you may find around the suncity in best price. We stayed in 2 bedroom chalet which was quite spacious and clean. Filling station and supermarket is just 5 Kms away in Sun village.

Stayed in Kingdom resort for 2 nights. Location is great is approx 5km from Suncity and periodic shuttle service is available from resort. The Kingdom resort book Pilansburg safari on request booked for 6-9 safari it was nice experience. Resort is on highway so is easy to find. Would recommend for family traveller
