The hotel is located at the main road, around 1km from the main railway station. The room given to us was a corner room, with huge windows and good views. Room quality was average and the staff at the reception was also average in checking in, handling requests. A lot of indians prefer this hotel due to the tie up with mmt.

Location is a bit far from the Old Town area where one ideally needs to be as a tourist. The 15-20 mins walk either ways is a bit much as you will want to go to the Old Town as often as possible. The check in experiences was great and very smooth. It has a 24 hour reception so late night check ins, early morning check outs should all be smooth. The staff at the reception is superbly friends and always greet you with a smile when you are passing by. Loved the fact that the hotel has water bowls for pets at the entrance, thought this was such a thoughtful gesture. - The room was a decent size but upkeep needs a lot of attention. Shower head holder was broken, phone in the room didn’t work and we had to use our mobile phones to make a call to the hotel’s phone line to speak to the reception. The room has a common balcony which runs across the floor, so privacy is a bit of an issue as you will need to keep your curtains drawn all the time which is not great if you like the sunlight to come into the room in morning. The room / balcony overlooks a nice enough area has a good view. In the winter the hotel AC is centrally set to heating in all the rooms and the minimum setting is too hot. So had to keep the AC off and the room balcony door open since the room closed with AC/heating on would get too stuffy. Woke up drenched in sweat several times at night. We spent most of our night time balancing between managing the AC and keeping the balcony door ajar to manage to create an appropriate temperature in the room. We had broken a drinking water glass in the room and informed the reception of it when checking out. They were nice enough to not fuss about it or charge us for it. All in all an average experience on account of the upkeep of the room and the distance from the old town was a bit far for a walk. So not a place I would chose for the next trip.

Overall the stay was good in Salzburg. Main attractions are little bit far away from the Hotel. Hotel Staff was good, they guided us to main attractions nearby which helped us a lot !!! Value for Money ..

Very Good Hotel

Right from the check in to check out, everything was A1 at the Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all questions without any tire and were always there to help . Location was an added advantage . There was an amazing brewery Die Weisse very near to the Hotel and it's a must visit if you are staying at this Hotel . If ever I visit Salzburg again, I will stay at this Hotel for sure.

Lovely cosy rooms with perfect cleanliness and nice decor. The location of the hotel is at walking distance to old town and major attractions and also the indian restaurant- taj Hal restaurant. Breakfast buffet was a lavish spread having all the necessary items. Overall good experience !!
