The hotel doesn't have lift or elevator, so for upper floors, you have to be possessing a robust health. The free coffee machine operates till 12 noon only. The worst part was - it's inbuilt watch is faster by 15 minutes than the real time, so it didn't dispense coffee even at 11:50 am. The room and the bathroom were too small even for two persons.

The check in and check out experience was quick and good. Polite staff. Location is great since it's easy to access both Leiden square and Dam square. The tram stops just 50m from the hotel. It's surrounded by a host of restuarants and pubs. If you get a room facing the road, there are high chances that you will hear both the trams and some very enthusiastic people down the street way past midnight, so either carry a pair of ear plugs or simply stay out and party all night :-) Recommend the place.

No elevators, the rooms are extremely tiny!

Location is excellent, next to a coffeeshop and close to happening places. Besides that there's nothing positive about the hotel. Tiny rooms, no coffeemaker, fridge or microwave. Please ensure your room is not on the higher floor as there's no lift.

Parfaitement situé pour mes besoins, ce petit hôtel a été à la hauteur the mes attentes. La chambre était propre et l'espace douche/wc satisfaisant. Dans les points négatifs sont a relever l'accès aux chambres (my valise fut lourde à monter 3 étages bien raids) et l'insonorisation (ce fut la fête à mon étage jusqu'à the 3h du matin).

Cheap hotel at good location

We stayed in Amsterdam central for two days and this is the cheapest hotel that we could find. I'd list out the pros and cons.. Pros : location.. Near to leidseplein, all pubs and museums are close by. East access to transport. Price. Cons : small room.. Very small in fact. Overall, it was a good experience. If you are travelling whole day and just need a place to crash in night given you have to stay in central area, this is the best hotel.
