Location awesome, food especially vegetarian is ok ok.. less choices... Horizon pool is excellent. Can also add billiards table in its list of amenities.

The resort is located at the heart of the tourist hub in langkawi. It's a very large property and very well maintained. We had a very good time here and it's a lovely option for families traveling with kids. The only issue we faced was with Indian vegetarian food options at the resort, although there are many Indian restaurants at Cenang Beach nearby.

Ambience was great, staff were friendly. They also accommodated early check in for us. Kid friendly and activities for them.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable, and the staff were very polite and quick to help whenever we needed something. The service was excellent throughout. The only disappointment was the food quality, which could be improved in taste and variety.

We had an exceptional experience at Pelangi Beach Resort. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the vast private beach was immaculate. We especially enjoyed the delicious food and the staff's warm, attentive service. The live music made our dinners more memorable. Highly recommend for all age groups.

Location is good. It’s an old property. Beach is private but dirty. You can’t use it. Breakfast spread is oki sh.

I faced a disappointing experience at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi. During check-in, I was surprised to learn that my booking had been auto-cancelled without any prior intimation, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. The breakfast spread is limited for vegetarians or vegans, which was another drawback. The ambiance of the resort is good and the surroundings are pleasant, but the service overall felt only moderate. Not quite up to expectations for the price and reputation.

Excellent location, beautiful property on the beach. Rooms are in wooden chalets which are atmospheric but occasionally let in noise from adjacent rooms. Breakfast is acceptable, have had better elsewhere. If you are willing to pay, sea-facing chalets are best. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Property is good, but hospitality is not that great. The checkin process was time taking, the receptionist had poor communication skills, didn't explain the property amenities and layout well. We are pure vegetarians, but the food menu hardly had 1-2 options for vegetarians, dhal was there but served sambhar instead and it wasn't that great too. Breakfast had hardly 3-4 fruits, mix idli/parota, sambhar, packed juices, bakery products and a few others in veg options. They should look at adding more vegetarian options in the menu, if possible hire an Indian cook who knows how to cook good vegetarian food. Also, buggy experience was too bad, you have to wait 20 mins everytime to get a buggy to travel inside the resort, seems like they only have 2-3 buggies max in the whole resort. On the good part, the property is beautiful, well maintained. Good location, attached to the beach. Private access to beach, good swimming pool.

We had an amazing stay at Pelangi Beach Resort. We had booked the island view room and it was so dreamy waking up to the sea every morning. The resort has amazing view, very well maintained rooms, extremely hospitable staff. The location is very convenient since the Cenang market is walking distance. We had dinner at the Pelangi grill on our last day and oh the view of beach and moonlight sky was breathtaking. The best part of this property is that they have everything inside the resort only from shopping arcade to doctor's clinic, 2 pools, gym, nature walk, cycles for rides, a cute cafe at the lounge, beach access, it is worth every penny.

Good location (near to airport, beach facing, market close by) and wide range of food options and has all required amenities (gym, pool, spa, kids area etc). Service and communication can be improved (extremely slow room service and does not close loop timely on requests). Overall well maintained property, however rooms require some work.. All three rooms booked had A/C issues (although were resolved within 1-2 hours)

The property’s location is very good. The beach is very close to the property. The food in the restaurants were good, the service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and the property was kept very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend the property.

The food options were horrendous for a vegetarian especially. With 3-4 restaurants in the property, not one of them were food friendly for a vegan or vegetarian person. As a resort which caters to all nationalities, the food also should represent the same. Apart from this, the room service was very slow for any request made.

I had a very frustrating check-in experience at Dash. We arrived early and had to wait over 4 hours for our room, even though I’m 4.5 months pregnant. Despite repeatedly being told the room would be ready soon, and even noticing that some rooms appeared vacant, the staff was uncooperative and showed no willingness to accommodate us a bit earlier. It was extremely disappointing and lacked basic empathy. That said, the overall stay was fine. The pool and beach were lovely, and a special mention to Andy at the bar—he was friendly and made the experience better. However, the front desk staff needs to be far more considerate and supportive, especially in such situations.

The property itself was truly amazing, but I was highly disappointed with the booking experience. I had specifically booked a room with a king bed, but upon arrival at the resort, we were told that only twin beds were available. This was very frustrating and not what we had expected or paid for.

The only area of improvement is the vegetarian Indian food options, being Indian vegetarians, we found limited choices that matched our preferences. A little more attention to Indian veg cuisine would make it flawless for travelers like us. But aside from that, absolutely no complaints. Pelangi Beach Resort is a must-visit luxury destination in Langkawi, perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for an authentic island experience with modern comfort.
