We were told that we have been upgraded but within 5 minutes we realized that the air conditioning was not at all working. so imagine, 41 degrees and you are stuck in a huge room with no windows and a dusty wall to wall carpet. I cannot believe that they were not aware of that. When I complained, I was told that they are putting up a air blower. When I complained about the heat in the room, I was told that I can check out and they would refund the money. So on the eve of India Pakistan match at Adelaide, where would I get a room that too within reasonable budget and with the local newspapers reporting that the nearest hotel was almost 1 hr drive away. I am not at all happy with my stay. That night, we were awake in the room till 4:30 due to the unbearable heat.
