The stay at per a palace was wonderful, the tea lounge experience is an experience to remember, no wonder it is a michelin. The staff and services are fantastic and they look after their guest so well. Looking forward in coming back to istanbul & per a palace very soon.

Hotel per a palace a very good property to stay in. It is made with old architecture. Hotel is centrally placed. Very near to taksim square and galata tower almost walking. For shopping go to market between grand bazar and spice bazar. Metro is also near by but will recommend only once you reach from airport to hotel by taxi. Taxi will charge about 800 lira. Most important, please do not exchange currency at airport. Just exchange about 50-100 usd, enough for reaching from airport to hotel. Once you reach local market, near hotel also, exchange rate is good. I converted 1 usd to 24 lira from airport however it was 1 usd to 30. 5 lira outside in local market. Best currency exchange rate is at grand bazar. Use metro for local, it will save time and money both. If someone loves walking. It’s a good city for that, just take care while choosing the walk path as sometime the walk is steep upwards also.

Housekeeping service while good, was found to be lacking couple of times. Breakfast while the spread was good, we had to eat the same food every day. The ushering personnel posted at the main door was exceptional. Rest of the services could definitely be more customer centric, whether housekeeping, and especially service personnel at the restaurant.
Spacious room, nice sit out with a great view of the grand horn.

Hotel per a palace a very good property to stay in. It is made with old architecture. Hotel is centrally placed. Very near to taksim square and galata tower almost walking. For shopping go to market between grand bazar and spice bazar. Metro is also near by but will recommend only once you reach from airport to Pera Palace Hotel by taxi. Taxi will charge about 800 lira. Most important, please do not exchange currency at airport. Just exchange about 50-100 usd, enough for reaching from airport to Pera Palace Hotel. Once you reach local market, near Pera Palace Hotel also, exchange rate is good. I converted 1 usd to 24 lira from airport however it was 1 usd to 30. 5 lira outside in local market. Best currency exchange rate is at grand bazar. Use metro for local, it will save time and money both. If someone loves walking. It’s a good city for that, just take care while choosing the walk path as sometime the walk is steep upwards also.

The stay at per a palace was wonderful, the tea lounge experience is an experience to remember, no wonder it is a michelin. The staff and services are fantastic and they look after their guest so well. Looking forward in coming back to istanbul & per a palace very soon.
