Air BnB not Hotel

Firstly, it is not a hotel, it is like an Air BnB. There is no telephone in the room, no room service, no complimentary coffee or kettle in the room, no complimentary water bottle, no proper housekeeping ( our bedsheets were not changed even once in our 4-day stay). The air-conditioning unit is noisy and the walls are made of board(not brick) so if you have a noisy neighbour, you won’t get to sleep peacefully. The front desk staff has a very casual approach to any of your issues and most of the time the front desk is empty so searching for a staff is a task. The only great thing about the property is it overlooks the sea which almost every property in Amalfi does. per night for the room and it was absolutely not worth it!

Extremely compact, lacking amenities, not-so-good location. Trust my words, this hotel is good only for budget accommodation. The room finishes before you enter it. There is no food available except for breakfast and half the time there is nobody available at the reception to cater to your needs. Breakfast has limited variety, the cappuccino being the best breakfast item! It says room service and restaurant, but unfortunately, the restaurant is only for the breakfast and there is no room service. The hotel is located 1.9kms from the Amalfi City Center, where you have the cafes/shops etc. and walking is the only option (buses are hourly or so, there is a bus stop located outside the hotel). The only proof this place is the view from the hotel (provided you take the sea view room), the view is outstanding!

Just decent, but very far from everything!

Firstly, do not go by the photos shown for room category, reaching we found out that our room did not even have windows. Obviously the rooms are not soundproof. Also, you can't even cook a packet of cup noodles in your room, as they can't afford to have proper ventilation or exhaust. This detail was also not shared beforehand while booking, instead I was told that I will be fined if I cook in the room.
