Located in the north, grand baie has the perfect blend of luxury resorts, restaurants and night clubs (if that is your scene. Accessibility from airport is good as it’s just an hour’s drive. The beach of lux grand baie is not sprawling white sands. It’s a pretty narrow strip but well equipped with cabanas and sun decks. On call service as well. The property boasts of 4 pools. One on the rooftop. So there are no chances of getting bored. Rooms and their view is splendid what lacks is the efficiency and promptness of the staff in their restaurants ! we were there for 4 nights with practically all meals at the resort used to be a task getting the attention of the servers ! and the wait time, post ordering was so long that it used to kill our appetite ! menu options are quite limited and if u are a vegetarian then god help u ! personally i found the food strictly ok. The food and the service staff would get 2 stars max but the property, its location and amenities definitely deserves a 5 star

Good central location, gorgeous new hotel, excellent food and drinks, superb spa, nice entertainment. It’s a true 5 star hotel and really enjoyed my stay. Stayed 3 nights but it wasn’t enough to enjoy all the hotel had to offer. Stayed in the garden room, very convenient and so close to nature. Lux never disappoints.
