While the location was perfect, with easy access to airport. On the positive side, the shuttle services provided by the hotel were extremely helpful, making it convenient to get around. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. However, there were some significant issues that impacted my stay. The lighting in the room was inadequate, making it difficult to move around or work comfortably. Moreover, we experienced frequent power cuts, which was frustrating. The biggest inconvenience was the lack of water supply in the rooms. This was a basic amenity that was not met, causing discomfort and disruption to our daily routine. With some improvements to the infrastructure and amenities, this hotel has the potential to be a top-notch destination. *pros* - perfect location - convenient shuttle services - friendly staff *cons* - insufficient lighting in rooms - frequent power cuts - no water supply in rooms *recommendation* i would recommend it only to those who can overlook the current infrastructure challenges. If you prioritize location and shuttle services, this might be a good option. However, if basic amenities like lighting, power, and water supply are non-negotiable, you may want to consider alternative options. *suggestion to management* please invest in upgrading the hotel's infrastructure, particularly the electrical and plumbing systems, to provide a more comfortable and convenient stay for guests.

Location superb for one night near to airport, room were extra clean. Free airport shuttle, Ibis I loved it was superb stay for one night. I wish I had 3 more nights. Bathroom also good and prominent.

Very close to the airport providing complimentary shuttle. As the city center of Sofia is also close by (my taxi coasted 12 levs) would be a nice place to stay for a short getaway. Rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. Overall a great place to stay.

Rooms are very comfortable, with air conditioning. In bathroom is large shower. Hotel is close from Sofia Airport (international terminal), also is available free shuttle bus. Hotel could be some cheaper. Service is very good, I can recommend this hotel.

At the low end of the Ibis standard

The location: Perfect for a stay at the airport. There is a free shuttle bus from both terminals (available if you call the hotel). The walking distance is about 30 minutes. Also quite near to the bus-stop if you want to go to the center of Sofia. But nothing else. No shops. No restaurant (except the one in the hotel). The hotel is quite new (build in 2014). But in a medium condition. Small rooms. Ibis standard with writing desk, open wardrobe, tv (international channels). But no free water, no water-cooker, no room-safe. Sleeping quality okay, but no "Ibis Suite Bed". Only a mattress with topper on a board. Not fixed, of course. So that the mattress always slips during the night. The shower-cabine quite big, the bathroom clean. Bad: Nobody came to make the bed or clean the room during our 2 nights stay. They changed the towels. That was all. The breakfast was served as a buffet. But with a small choice (hot sausages, scrambled eggs, vegetables, croissants, bread, nutella, marmalade, cheese, sausage sliced, fruits) and the buffet was not really clean. At the first day there were even no drinking glasses for juice and water.

Enjoyable Stay at IBIS Airport Hotel Sofia

The hotel was exactly as described. As any other Ibis hotel, this one was modern and very clean. The room wasn't that big but it had everything you may need in it. It's the perfect accommodation for late-night travellers. The staff was nice and friendly.

The nearest hotel to Sofia Airport at reasonable price. I didn't book the cheapest available room, but ours was quite small. However it was clean. The walls were very thin and we could hear the cleaning staff early in the morning so we almost had no sleep as we arrived just few hours earlier. The breakfast and the coffee were good.

The hotel is next to the airport, the rooms are small but cozy and clean. The hotel also has its own shuttle bus to and from the airport, which is very convenient. For early transfers I think the hotel is quite handy.
