    Nestled in the mountains, the hotel is a dreamlike setting offering spectacular views of Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstätter See). It is situated in a quiet area, fully immersed in nature. Ample parking is available. The breakfast is excellent, featuring gluten-free bread options. The Staff is very friendly and nice. Just a one-minute walk away, you will find the funicular that takes you down to the lake to board boats bound for various lakeside villages—including Rütli, the historic site where the Swiss Confederation was founded. Seelisberg is a 35-minute drive from Lucerne, a very beautiful city that is highly recommended. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are simple, yet clean and comfortable. The hotel's true luxury lies in the surrounding nature—knowing we are in the very heart of the Swiss Alps—and that is priceless.

    Very disappointing experience, there were bugs on the ceiling and in the bathroom, and I noticed what appeared to be bug bites on my feet. The kitchen staffs were extremely rude. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

    The lake and mountain views alone were worth the price! The restaurant was very good as well...try the weinerschnitzel, the best so far! Staff were very hospitable and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and stay again!

    The hotel has a nice view and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were quite a lot of bugs, and the soundproofing was very poor. I could hear almost everything from the room next door.

    Bellevue means “beautiful view,” and sadly that’s the hotel’s only beautiful feature. The location overlooking Lake Lucerne is stunning, but everything else was disappointing. The hotel is dated and in urgent need of refurbishment, as well as improvements in customer service. Arriving just one hour before check-in after a long train journey, we were refused entry and even denied refreshments, being told to go elsewhere. Our room was in the separate Naturhaus building, with no lift or help carrying luggage. The room was basic, and the bathroom was outdated. The tiny shower had a stained curtain that clung to you, making it an unpleasant experience. Twice we were unable to eat in the restaurant because we hadn’t booked, despite it appearing empty the second time. Staff were consistently unfriendly and made us feel like an inconvenience. Ordering a large draft beer and a bottle of Coke and “chips” resulted in a small bowl of tortilla chips costing CHF20.20. We also witnessed other guests being treated rudely. Breakfast was the only highlight, with a good selection and one friendly waitress. However, the Naturhaus corridor frequently smelled of urine, there was no phone or fridge in the room, and even asking for ice was met with hostility. Although towels were changed daily, cobwebs and bathroom stains remained throughout our stay. The views are wonderful, but the service, facilities and cleanliness mean we would not stay here again.

    Breakfast is very good, which sets you up well for the day ahead (and given Swiss food prices is very good). The hotel was clean, but a little worn in places (3 of the bulbs in the room had gone and some remaining had been unscrewed as they were blinding floodlights due to mismatched incandescent bulbs) The staff were friendly and helpful (finding a table when reception had forgotten to pass on the booing to the restaurant) The views are breathtaking
